All I keep seeing is Macheda could be joining NUFC. What the hell has happened to Sturridge? Has he left the face of the planet? Not only have we not been linked with him.........nobody has. He hasnt played a minute for Chelsea this season (I think hes suspended to be fair) but where is he?! Get him in on loan and save us wasting £8mil on a Maiga or any other the 'targets' we are linked with. Macheda or Sturridge??.......hmmmmm...tough one.....!
Suspended so far. Played plenty in pre season, at worst I expect he'll be blooded in to the team this season, cant see them letting him out on loan again

That was before they signed Lukaku and he cant go out on loan according to the 'Stoke' story going around the minute. He isnt going to get much chances with Drogba, Torres, Anelka, Lukaku and Kalou. Worth a try. Even buy him for £8-£12mil. Shy boys dont get any sweets. Always worth a punt.
I think the RW spot in Chelsea's team is his going off pre season and Bolton form. Cutting inside from there with the service he'll get he'll do very well for them.
I read somewhere that AVB was a big fan of sturridge and wanted to get him playing in the team as soon as he came back from suspension. Also if Lukaku was touted for a loan move this season, but blocked by fifa regs, then would that suggest AVB doesn't think he's ready yet to start?

Yes but, he will have to play one or the other. Having them both isn't really the best option. They both need games. So if Lukaku cant, it'll have to be Sturridge. Thats the way I see it anyway.
