Just seen a review of the Sheffield Utd - Derby game from the weekend and Ayala was praised for his performance. From what I've read he set up the goal for Robinson and was like a brick wall at the back heading everything back out and stopping everyone getting through.* Earlier in the season at Hull he did really well and he was solid for them. I knew he'd do well for Derby but it's still nice to read about it and see one of our bright young prospects coming good and doing us all proud. I hope when he returns he can push for a first team place here or at least a decent run in the Europa league (if that's where we end up) the last thing I want to see happen is him go off to a mid table la Liga team and slip away into mediocrity. He has potential to be a success here, big build, good awareness of the game and he's not too slow that it will affect his game. Whats everyone elses thoughts on Ayala? *
Think he's a good prospect and should push for the first team next season. Bit on the skinny side for a Premiership center back? haven't seen him since pre season though and the Championship is a tough league.
Needs to bulk up,but otherwise he has all the attributes to make a top centre back. He's a willing learner and is a relative novice. The future looks good.Plus we've got 17 year old Andre Wisdom, from what I heard he's a monster.
