There's no rumours of us signing Ayala or anything but he's someone I wish we would look at making a bid for. Have seen him play a few times this season for an exciting Boro side and think he would fit in well for us, at the very least as back up for Ash and Freddie. He is always looking to get forward and is technically brilliant, a far superior player to Bartley in my opinion. Hoping maybe we make a bid for him in the window, though on present form of the respective teams, he may fancy his chances of reaching the Premier League with Boro next season whilst question marks have now arisen on our own chances of being here for 2016/17.
Wasn't he on his way to sign for us a couple of seasons ago when he was with Liverpool but went to Norwich instead or have I got the wrong player.
Rodgers tried to sign him days after we signed Vorm and we were duking it out with Hull for his signature. But he signed with Norwich for 800,000 thousand mid August . His stock eventually tumbled over the years till he signed for Boro for 400,000 . He's better than the price Boro payed imo and would be happy to sign him ......only on the cheap though .
