Apparently we've signed Swansea defender Daniel Alfei on loan, what's he like as a player, and how would you rate him? Our defence has been the weakest part of our team (along with the midfield and attack), so hopefully he'll make us a bit more solid at the back. I'm hoping he's not like a Glen Johnson type player (i.e. great attacking, not so great defending) as realistically shoring up our defence is probably more important right now than having an attacking wingback, although someone who's good in both attack and defence would be nice!

Alfei had a few games for us in the Championship didn't he a few seasons back? I seem to remember he was superb in one game but was equally bad the next. Needs some game time in a lower league and if he can help Pompey out then both should benefit.
