I've seen a couple of rumours about us being interested in Daniel Agger. Now 31 and out of contract following a stint at Brondby

The link ties in with rafa staying and in my opinion woudnt be an awful signing. From what i remember though he had quite a few injuries. Fenebache are also interested. Thoughts?

Hard to tell, look at Wes Morgan.....352 games for Notts Forest and suddenly he is a Premier League winner aged 32!

There will be other options I'm sure but we've got to trust Rafa

As a short term option he would be decent. The only issue is his fitness.

According to his wiki entry, he played 175 games for Liverpool in 8 seasons. A lot of injuries then.

Im not sure how many fixtures Brondby have but he played 19 in the season before last and 13 in this latest season. Whats more amazing is he has only played 241 games in his 12 year career in club football, but that hasnt stopped him playing 70 games for denmark which is quite astonishing

Would take Agger, being 1/4 Danish I've always had a bit of a soft spot for him. As mentioned though injuries would be the main problem but if we keep our current crop of CB's we'd be fine for cover.
