Despite a point for Portsmouth today they are only out of relegation of the football league by a point.

    What do we want?

Pompey to be relegated from the football league

Pompey to survive and remain in league two for some considerable time.

Pompey to rise from the ashes and start to climb the leagues again and give the prospect of local derbies back

    Really dont care anymore

I'd quite like the derbies back, but I can not see them in the Premier League for decades, if in my lifetime at all.

Would that be the end if they went down?

I don't know, let's find out. Relegation please. I'd not want them to go bust, just linger in non-league somewhere for a little bit.

Better hope for a cup draw, we won't be playing them for a long time... I hope.

Derbies are a distant dream for them.

They would be the first team to play in the PL to drop out of the FL, no?

Don't want them to be relegated...some of their fans put in a lot of effort and some money to save them. Swishing around in League 2 is about right.

The continuous relegations are quite funny in a way but I don't really care any more.

I wanted them to go bust while they were in the Premier League but that was nothing to do with it being Pompey. I hoped a Premier League club going out of business would send enough shockwaves around football that it might stop some of the crazy overspending we see. As it is Pompey's gradual slump into irrelevance means they'd barely warrant a mention on the news if they went out of business now.

I don't really care but it'd be quite funny to see them drop out the Football League. No point hoping they'll come up and we'll have a rivalry again because it won't happen.

At the start of the season they were heavy favourites to win League 2 with the bookies. Easiest money I ever will make.

Never understood that...even when Pompey fans said it. They aren't a club that have dropped down with their good players still in situ. They are a cobbled together side. The only advantage Pompey have over most other teams is the size of their fan base.

The only reason I could think of at the time was that because of the relief/optimism the fans were feeling after the take over a lot of them decided to have a bet on Pompey to win L2. Don't know how big the market is but if quite a few pompey fans had a bet that could've brought the odds right in.

Portsmouth and Luton in the Conference would be bloody ridiculous.

For their decent fans I hope and expect them to survive, not going to say anthing about their future, none of my business.

I can't see them charging up the leagues on foundations of sand again.

Their stadium is fit for league one/lower championship at best.

I think they will stay in league 2 for a few years, but will eventually get up and challenge top half of league one with the fan base. They'll be an attractive proposition for a league 1/2 player.

According to our CEO, we'd be able to cope financially.

And tbf, our financial woes hasn't resulted in one iota of change in regards to the crazy overspending that characterises the PL.

Let's not pretend today's Premier League teams spend nearly as recklessly as Portsmouth did. It could only have really been argued QPR did.

Man City. Also, who happens to be QPR manager?
