Any reason why that prick didn’t give him a game yesterday? Since pre season all our fans have wanted is for him to be given a chance and shock horror Parkinson has failed to play him all season. Poor ****ing lad, was our best player by a mile in pre season, signed a new contract and gets treated like that. I’d be at his door asking for a loan if I was him. Can anyone honestly tell me they want this tosser in charge of our club? Might as well close the academy.
He will be away if parkysaurus doesn’t give him his chance, new contract or not, imagine a forward progressive club like Leeds wanting him and he ends up staying with these clowns feet playing third fiddle to Dobson and Power.
Who's going to sack him? Won't be Donald as he's never around these days, somehow we've managed to stay in the promotion race despite our manager. We need an owner who wants to be involved with the day to day running of this club, not someone who has decided to hide away in Oxfordshire or wherever. Yesterday was an opportunity for players to force themselves into first team consideration and apart from a couple of young'uns the others couldn't be arsed.
Dan should have come on yesterday with Embleton, this moron is protecting his back and is afraid to face the fact that at least five senior players are either not good enough or just taking the ****. Why hand Wyke, Grahams walking stick yesterday, one slow useless goal machine for another, typical Parky move. He would rather loose the game than admit his team selections in the first place, and game side tactics in the second are so wrong that its obvious to the vast majority of supporters At this rate the stadium will be empty next time the public are allowed in. Yesterday was the perfect time to try something new, say Grigg up front as a lone striker with some energetic players around him in the shape of Diamond, Embleton and Neil, its what the vast majority of supporters want to see, but no, Dan Neil is just the latest in a long line of top class potential squandered by the short sighted antics of the so called professional staff at the club.
Just mentioned it on the Mumba thread, but didnt we do similar with him plenty of pre-season minutes, signs contract then stick him in u23s?
TOPPER POST CLOCKY you have nailed it on the head, and a majority of supporters are right behind you with those sentiments.
I watched the U23 game against Wolves last week, it was the complete opposite to that debacle yesterday, It was a joy to watch, a Sunderland team playing with passion, pace and purpose and winning deservedly against all odds.. I fear for the lads involved whose wholehearted enthusiasm and courage will be suffocated by this clown of a manager if he gets half a chance. Its beyond a joke mate it really is. Nil Desperandum
your a life long fan clocky love Sunderland to your last breath and like many have had years of ups and downs with the club, a lot of the younger supporters havent been around long enough to gauge what's gone on before, however these are the darkest days we have had to endure yet, even Howard Wilkinson was better than Parky and that's a big negotiation point, we have a **** owner who's done nothing but lie to the fans to line his own pockets, yet some of the younger ones wish to believe his lies, besides one or two happy clappers who i have no quals with but do not agree with but who never see any ills at the club. The majority are that i see contributing are yearning for change.
According to the Chronicle, Dan Neil and other under 23s are to be given a game tomorrow night https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/spo...s/sunderland-give-u23s-chance-efl-19250924?t=
It's all well and good but they'll probably be up against the Fleetwood B team and will learn nothing. Lose/lose situation for me.
Wow the manager is so brave. What a guy giving youth a chance is a meaningless game that no one cares about. Full credit to him.
If it the intention to play a few of the youngsters they will need a good pro NOT Power or Dobson but someone like Leadbitter who can talk them through the game and knows how to encourage and lead by example , he had a rest on Saturday and he was badly missed . If he is fit and wants to play I would let him , I honestly believe the youngsters would benefit from his input in pointing them in the right direction .
