What's the verdict on this guy? Leeds have been linked but no idea about him other than that he's a "midfielder". Any good?

He's ours.
Anyway, he seems to be more of a playmaker that spreads the ball in more of a holding role. Got an eye for a good pass. But he scored alot of long-range efforts for Oldham so I guess he can play in an attacking role too. Good prospect but not amazing.

Personally, i haven't been too impressed. I don't think he's a Championship type of player based on what I've seen of him
Not seen anything much to convince me as of yet but he has made a couple of good through ball passes so maybe he will prove to be a useful addition if Nigel wants him.
If we are promoted then he and Morgan La Lune will form our central midfield pairing, just watch him go then.
Do you mean spider St Godders? We are not so familiar with La lune.......I take it you are not a fan of Hammond then, or maybe chappers?
I am not a fan, he's a bit light weight & doesn't like to tuck in or put a foot in - passable in L1 but no chance in Championship

Sounds like a like-for-like replacement for Neil Kilkenny who's leaving us on a free.
Heard a rumour that we tied a deal up for him at the end of the season, that is why Oldham let him come to us on loan. The original request was turned down
Stephens initially turned down a request to come to Saints, probably because of loyalty, then his agent slapped him round the head and he came on loan. Sounded when interviewed like a deal was on the table for him to stay at SMS.
