I was watching highlights of the Championship games this morning and to my surprise Christian Dailly's name popped up. Seems he has earned himself a deal at Pompey, playing a part in Varney's late equaliser. Good luck to him I say, remains to be seen whether he is Championship quality after a below par performance in league one last season.
Was he below par, or did he just have much more work to do? I remember parky saying he was one of the fittest people at Charlton last year, so if he can still run about for 90 minutes, then why not!
I know two seasons ago he was our fittest player despite being the oldest, and was just ahead of Scott Wagstaff who was one of our youngest.
Mind you, to quote our dear departed friend "e can take over from Wenger n all" Why oh why did we waste 2 years on such a complete tool.
TVR - I am sure we all have our little pet hates that really wind us up. Like hogging the middle lane of a motorway, artics elephant racing, people turning right at traffic lights and not indicating till the lights turn green and so on. Parky just happens to be mine. Venting ones spleen every so on is theraputic and good for the soul. Broken record certainly, and apologies for playing it every now and then.
I see Darren Randolph is making a name for himself at Motherwell, where he hasn't conceded a goal yet this season. What do you think of that?
