I definitely think 2.20 Exeter Timmies Gone 14/1 looks well worth a bet today. Keiran Burke's 7 year old looks a fascinating contender today, like so many of the trainers horses. With a career in P2P comprising of 8 races in that sphere culminating in 2010, Timmies Gone joined his current yard and has had 4 races under rules to date. For Burke, he has competed in 4 Chase events between a distance of 2m6f and 3m2f to pretty much no success. Today, Timmies Gone makes his hurdles debut in a really poor selling hurdle and is dropped significantly back in trip tom 2m3f and this definitely represents his weakest race under rules. With the trainer's record of 1 win from 3 at Exeter, I think the jockey booking on Timmies Gone is extremely eye-catching. Nick Schofield come here for just 1 ride, and has 3 wins from 4 to date when riding for Burke.

4.30 Chijmes, this old boy has been ringing the winners bell at Lingfield on a regular basis, and today I think he will resume his love affair with the Leafy Lingfield track. All but one of his thirteen career wins have come at the track, off marks as high as 82 and now runs off a mark of 63. He was poor last time out, but that was away from this salubrous setting and on his last course visit he won in a convincing style, and as such looks to be very fairly handicapped still.

Hayley Turner rides the old boy again today and I think he can pick off this field down the short straight. 11/2 is a very fair price for a horse with wonderful course form.

In the 6.00 I like the outsider of the bunch, which says everything about the quality of the race. Its on the blog if you fancy a five minute read!!

Wow that 16s didn't last long on Timmies Gone. PP now going 11s. Someone must be going round the bookies piling cash on and got to PP last. <laugh>

No doubt about that, seriously deranged. Sometimes worth a read if you put blinkers, sunglasses, and a hood on, and have consumed a few beers?

You were warned about this on the Welcome to this forum. GC is an unsavoury place.

Voleuse De Couers 21:15 @ Dundalk tonight 5/2 BOG generally. Had this horse as one to look out for this seaaon and in what could prove to be a decent maiden down the line, i think this horse has been found a good opprtunity for the Dermot Weld Pat Smullen combination to score tonight.

I should qualify that by adding I am currently trying to write my personal objectives for work for this year. My boss is too twatting lazy to give me objectives so I have to do it myself. At least they'll be achieveable this way. I'm wondering if "Picking the Derby winner" will count?
