    Nottingham 4.10

I suspect, with the testing ground, that the proven stayers Biographer and High Jinx will make it a true test of stamina. However I would prefer to risk that one of the two younger, lightly raced, ones can nick this.

Flying Officer and Mighty Yar have 4 wins and a 2nd from 5 races between them. Mighty Yar looks the class act, a grey colt by Teofilo out of a Kahyasi mare. Whether this testing 14f will suit is pure guesswork but I can't imagine Lady Cecil would put an unbeaten colt with such a pedigree into a race to get beaten; so at 11/2 (888Sport) it could be worth the risk.

Flying Officer, however, should love this stamina test. I see he is a descendant of the great Ribot, so obviously that won't put me off. 7/2 not much of a price but as there is not much going today I'll try these two against the field.

2 points Flying Officer at 7/2
1 point Mighty Yar at 11/2

    Good luck all.

I've been looking at that race myself Ron, it's most interesting. Sorry to say it mate, but in conditions such as these, I prefer a more seasoned animal, and I'd much prefer to have some recent racing under their belt. Sadly that won't be the case in this race. I think both Biographer and High Jinx can run big races here. The latter for me I think. And I wouldn't be surprised to see Earth Amber run well.

    High Jinx.
    Biographer.
    Earth Amber.

    I hope I'm wrong Ron.

    3 for today which are:

3.10 Nott Proclamationofwar 8/1. Draw I believe slightly favours those drawn high and from stall 12 I'm hopeful of at least a place.
3.40 Nott Inxile 12/1. Cant be on the short priced fav especially with Spencer on board. Small fields sometimes throws up the outsider and is the only one to have had a recent run, Fallon onboard too.
3.00 Ling Drawnfromthepast 10/3. Won LTO beating Hamoody who won yesterday.

Two E/W bets and one win bet.

    Good luck today

Got a buzz off one of my mates who is close to the yard of Eric Alston... Signore Piccolo in the 3.10 @ Nottingham is the one... Currently 5/1 but that's going down as we speak...

    Cheers...<ok>

Going to throw sticks in with naburn and llewellyn small patent
the llewellyn race looks pants but viking warrior holds a bit of value ew at 33s and could go well of the mark plus the track record is very good , the distance is right and the conditions will be ok.
Another ew gamble at 28s is sherman mccoy this could go either way as probrably aptly named after a tank sherman is not the quickest but the rest of the card has down sides .
    good luck all

    Hello lads.

    Nothing today for me.

What a very taking prformance from Sacred Act in the first at Nottingham...made up about seven lengths inside the distance and won going away hard held without being put under any real pressure. One to keep an eye on for sure.

Hopefully my theory in the next at Nottingham is that the high drawn horses will dominate this, therefore the 4 drawn highest I have put in r/fc and tc.
