Amateur rider events are not usually my thing but if the weather permits racing at Musselburgh tomorrow I shall be cheering on KNIGHT WOODSMAN 25-1 1.10. He prefers a sound surface and somehow they have good ground in Jockland. This boy won off 100 for Nick King last season and if his new yard have found the key to him then this poor race off 92 is well within his compass. The jockey has been placed a few times so should at least know a little about what is expected.
Fav should be very hard to beat in this one and lack of headgear on KW would worry me greatly. Good luck Stick
Apparently it's going to piss it down in the morning in Edinburgh stick - see here "I've spoken to the clerk of the course and there's a good bit of rain coming in tomorrow morning so it will ride a bit softer than they are describing it now (good) but it will still be the best ground we are going to get anywhere at the moment."
I won't be watching any racing for a few days ................ still in total shock at the sad demise of Bobbyjack in the Lingfield bumper today - absolutely horrific. I've sent an e-mail to the Alan King yard with my condolences. Terribly sad and such a nice young prospect. They've had a desperate run this season in the King yard with injuries.
15 mins from the course... today would have been right good fast ground...tomorrows forecast is not good though
5.00 Kempton BUBBLY BRAVEHEART 7/1 Has been in need of the run last twice on return from a long break and should be spot on in this apprentice claimer tomorrow. It is unlikely they will go a mad gallop and most of this horses best form is off a moderate pace where he keeps on well from the front. He has a top young claimer on board and he is extremely well handicapped if he is as spot on for those two runs as I hope tomorrow. Looks ready to run a big race soon.
Pat Phelan certainly knows how to land a gamble. I actually thought a few of his other runners could receive support tomorrow. Will keep an eye out on them.
The bumper looks interesting at Musselburgh tomorrow. Spitz won nicely last time but has to carry a penalty with an interesting bumper debutant from the McCain yard in opposition. I think ill be siding with Spitz as he has proven form already and looks like he could be a decent prospect but could be an informative race
Just to point out this is an apprentice handicap, not the claimer I have wrote! I was thinking about the weight claims it seems!

hi All, not looked much at the racing recently, hate it when the weathers crap, but I think there is an interesting one out today at Musselburgh, Flogarose in the 3.40 20/1, may well be worth an each way play, especially if all 8 goto post.
