I seem to remember reading, when this race first started out under this name, that it was actually 'Ladbrokes World' (i.e. 'The World of Ladbrokes') Hurdle, good grief). Stayers Hurdle, or Champion Stayers Hurdle is surely the correct title for the race, or something like that? Present title is a load of bollox, agree.
Intresting race the 340 4 still hold entries into the william hill lincoln karaka jack being one the second fav but has not raced for 130 days karaka has a habit of going well after a break but today I really think mondlitch will be to much to beat. Out of the other three tatting askaud and showboating, tatting is the only one with a recent run this race looks more of awarm up for future races and it looks like the trainers have chosen wisely going against a 4yr old full of running lto and open to massive inprovement . It looks more of a test run to see were they go out of the 4 with the entries I would be suprised to see any win the lincoln even without the weights yet but im sure the trainers have there eyes on big money races at the same meeting .
