As my boy is still on great AW form I will be backing RAGHDAAN each way in the 3.30 at Southwell this afternoon. Best price 16/1. Now that I'm investing money, this will no doubt be the end of his lucky streak!
MorningPN all the very best to you and your other half, hope he is home for xmas i got music, owned by major share holder of BPG, will go very close today at a decent price
Thanks heisenburg, he is indeed home for Christmas and New Year this year - in fact he's got more time off than me! If I don't get on here again before Christmas I wish all the very best to my fellow 606ers for the festive period and here's to a profitable 2012
Will have a bit on Raghdaan, of course, but will also have small R/F on Rydalis and Tempest River in first at Hereford. Both SL and ATR do not show the breeding of Rydalis for some reason. The mare is by Kapgarde (FR) out of a Dress Parade mare. Oodles of stamina, maybe too much for this trip? GL everyone!
12.30 - Nafa - Shamardal is a sire who gets plenty of winners on sand, and this horse has shown enough form on other surfaces to win a race off this mark of 55. Won a handicap off 53 on grass. 17/2 EW 1.00 - Wreningham - best form in the race, goes on the surface and is 5/2.
Of his 12 runners since 1st December: 1 winner, 1 4th @ Southwell 1 winner, 1 3rd @ Wolverhampton 4 winners, 2 2nds @ Kempton 1 winner, 1 2nd @ Lingfield Obviously Kempton is the best place to back them!
Nass - it's on yesterday's DT 1.40 Hereford Advisor (NAP) Dual purpose horse who has run for Paul Nicholls over hurdles and Michael Bell on the flat. Was rated as high as 135 over hurdles (although that was probably inflated due to connections) before completely losing his way. His last run over hurdles was a Grade 2 at Ascot so this represents an enormous drop in class and he really should be up to winning what looks a very weak affair. Looks more like a 1/4 shot to me
Not much to rouse the interest today with the racing on offer of really poor quality. It really is a case of waiting for the post-Christmas action to begin, and what a feast we have to look forward to. The only two that mildly catch the eye are the Sedgefield Beginners' Chase with Charminster looking a fair prospect and an apparent penalty kick (without the keeper) for So Young at Thurles. I am borrowing Sir Barney's 'No Bet Banner' for the day and am waving it vigorously. So, great people of Not606, with today's action generating little interest, what are you best bets for the Christmas period?
Morning chaps, and a good, clean, crisp one it is to... But unfortunately the racing today dos not match the outside conditions... Looks like the wallet will be having a early day in preperation for the big hits over the xmas period... Hope we all have a good time and like most as soon as the xmas meal has been demolished thoughts will be going to the great sporting day that is Boxing day... Good luck to all over the xmas period and have a good one with all your family and friends...
Steamer alert - 2.10 Hereford Grams And Ounces. Was a general 6/1 shot early this morning but has shortened continuously, with Corals and Hills now going "levels you devils"
Wouldn't worry mate - your horse doesn't know the other one has been backed off the boards (Mind you his jockey might <run>)
