15.15 York - Navajo Chief- 7/1 Has an excellent record at this track including winning this race last year and has dropped 3lbs since his last winning mark(this race.) Altho he lost his form completely after this, he goes well fresh and this is the time to catch him. And with an inform jockey onboard he should be hard to beat 17.00 York- Cape Tribulation- 12/1 E/W Just got pipped here in October 2 years ago year and altho been off the track since Wetherby on boxing day, that day he came back from a 149 days off the track (9days longer than this year) Has some top class hurdle/chasing form and has proved quite handy on the flat so if he can bring any of his good hurdle form to today a place at the very least should be on the cards
I fancy all but my 3.50 selection in the York competition. plus also Mollasses - 2.00 Salisbury - 5/1 Hidden Gold - 3.05 Salisbury - SP
Does the horse need any extra weight to get in the Royal Ascot race he is clearly going to be pointed at? If so I think he will have a huge chance tomorrow, if not I can see him running well without winning as NH is not going to reduce his chance for Royal Ascot by giving him extra weight. He loves targeting those stayers races at Ascot but his Flat runners usually are only raced with big days in mind.
To anyone who reads the Sporting Life gallops reports a horse called Pass the Shovel has been getting good reviews over the last week or two when Stoute's string is reported on. Moore rides in the 4.25 at York but is then hurrying down the country to Newmarket in time for the 6.25 to ride for his governor. First time out is always tricky with maiden 3yos (as well as Stoute's runners) and there are some nice looking sorts in this race BUT I can't resist tipping Pas de Cheval in the 6.25 Newmarket to prove Ballymacoll have more than just Arab Spring this year.
Wooly any PWISE mate ? - Poxy corner shop and Tescos Express don't do Racing Post during the week now
Hi. I'm new on here. Have noticed the jockey Kingscote gets more than his fair share of winners when he has only 1 ride. Goes to Salisbury today to just ride MELROSE ABBEY. It won last time out only 2 weeks ago and there is money already this morning for it. Really fancy it's chances again today. Currently 3-1. Decent win bet.
Fine Prince won't be running wide today and has bound to come on from début (20/1 that day, whereas the winner, Magical Roundabout, was odds on), so BEACON must be superior to Magical Roundabout to win. I guess the amount piled on BEACON will tell us how superior they know him to be.
Sinister betting on this race by the forums favourite Crookmakers LC LC where the first firm to price this race up yesterday afternoon going 7/1 about Suraj, at the same time I noticed he was available @ 14 on Betfair to approx £15, which I duly hoovered up. A few moments later Victor Chandler open @ 14/1 & others at odds ranging from 12 to 14/1. Overnight the price has shrunk to 11/2 worst or 7/1 at best. I ask the question are LC running scared of this horse, or has Sir Barney been down to his Local LC with a wheelbarrow full of cash and got on best price early doors? Good Luck!
Hello all Sooooo yesterday didn't got to plan but i feel very confident of today's so good-luck to those who play: 1:30 Salisbury Beacon @ EVS 4:25 York Silver Ranger @ 11/8 5:25 Newmarket Realtra @ EVS 9/1 the Treble
