Could not see a daily thread up yet so just to start the ball rolling....

    York 3.30 Whozthecat 20-1 EW
This is a great each way bet in an open race. He has a few pieces of form that suggest he should be nothing like this price, the main one being a second to Zero money who won as he liked at Haydock yesterday.

    York 1.50 Satanic Beat 5-2
A very well regarded horse that was backed well last time for a decent race on Ebor day at this track. He got hampered that day but i full expect him to recoup the losses today, having quite a decent bet (for me)

The other two i will have a (small) interest in are
    3.00 Porgy
    4.00 Bollin Greta

    Good luck to all today

    4.50 Fontwell Winning Show (NAP)

Although he is the outsider of 6 Winning Show has a massive 17lbs pull with Surfboard on their Newton Abbot running and Winning Show usually goes well at Fontwell (his last 2 victories have come here). Off 10 stone dead and a rating of 83 I think he could cause a surprise here. Dark Energy is consistent but that has kept his mark high, surfboard is up 15lbs yet didn't exactly romp home last time, the 2 McManus runners have shown very little of late and Prince Pippin may still be acclimatising to his new yard.

Was the outsider of 6 when I put this on the naps thread earlier but appears to be attracting some money and is in from 12s to 8s <ok>

Bluesky I agree with you on Satanic Beat in the first at York and have had a little dabble.

Zoffi - nice one, always good to see new posters <ok>

Rubbish racing today.Nothing in the nap department.

However, the 3.05 at Dundalk, proper AW track, looks a really interesting heat and is by far the best race of the day.It looks a trappy contest as a betting medium but I'm gonna have a little on East Meets West.

He should have won a listed event on his second start when a fast finishing third after meeting all sorts of trouble.LTO at York he missed the kick before a short lived effort at halfway and faded tamely, being eased right down. That run is a bit of a worry but in the hope that he can bounce back, the 5/2 available with Boylesports is fair enough.

GL all.I love each and every one of you.

Front runners dominating at York I see. Rio Grande seems to need further, especially now handicapping.

Nass I am now starting to notice what a poor punter I am <laugh> looking back through some of my bets last few weeks is a joke - don't even know why I backed that thing - needs 1m already

I am doing well with my first bets of the day (ie the ones I pick out when deliberating) but I am shocking when playing through cards. Its about being patient and not backing too many!! That one in the first I managed not to back (because I had already staked my Sunday limit on My Condor)

Being patient is the key Nass spot on - never going to win backing in every race and that is why I am a mug punter <rofl> short prices are killing me lately - yesterday had a 6/4 turned over 13/8 evens and now an evens today <doh>.

5/2 about a 11/10 shot, really amazed by the market for this one.

I agree with the persian Pyramid selection Heisenburg as it was my initial selection as i think it has the best form and the most likely winner. The reason i have gone for Whozthecat is it's price as at 20-1 its now 4 times the price and even if it gets fourth it will return a similar amount to backing Persian to win. Whozthe cat has been placed in the first 3 in 3 out of his last 4 races so all in all i changed from Persian Pyramid because of EW value really, but will not be surprised in the least should Persian win.

    Good luck
