Apart from Thurles Irish jumps it's an AW day tomorrow (Southwell and Wolves). Having had a quick look through the cards I can't find a single "bet" but started a thread for anyone to add to. Very surprised to find not one course winner on the Southwell card.

Next you will be wanting to know why AP has not got any rides at Wolverhampton Ron <rofl>

I am not sure I will even bother to place a bet but
Wolverhampton
4.10 Barbs Princess

Also a race of interest is the 3.10 in which Seamus Durack has both the favourite in Shirazz 9-4 and the heavily backed last time Deferena Art at 11-1, could be worth watching the betting in this race but I think one will win it.

I expect a front running attempt by the Informant in the first at southwell -ground and trip to suit -hardly a tough assignment!

My brain is slowly recovering from Christmas/New Year; but clearly not there yet. Interestingly, while my brain has been out of gear I have been doing well with my selections. Funny I thought, funny.

Hello, pilgrims. Nothing for me today but racing is not without interest as at Southwell Mr Henderson introduces Earth Amber, what a lovely name for a mare by the way, to the NH game (2.30). She was placed on the level, in Listed grade, last term for the great man and must be one of the better mares to make the transition from the Flat to timber these past few years. However, I won’t be getting involved at current quotes of 11/10 due to the ground, it being her initial outing and in Wadsworth Court she looks to have a very tough rival. Really hope the old girl obliges though.

Question of the day though must be who will Pricewise pick when he evaluates the Champion Hurdle tomorrow??? As a result expect a bit of movement in the market from the chap, who rather like my good self, moves ‘em. For me it has to be will he go for one of the leading 5 or one of the ‘others’??? I’m thinking he may well opt for Jezki but as his modus operandi is typically to go for something much bigger perhaps Un De Sceaux could get his vote. Anyone got any views?!? Fascinating subject in my opinion and the start of the countdown to the Festival.

Good luck all.

its very low grade stuff today--but to add a small bit of interest, i'm going to do a L15 --all four have a chance by virtue of being in the contests, but that may well be the extent of their interest !

The Informant--won on this in its bumper, backed it because it was a 5/1 shot in a bumper won by Brindisi Breeze at 12/1- in its first foray in ireland--its first attempt in the uk was a success- at 16/1 -2miles on heavy ground--obviously things havent gone to plan as yet--but am prepared to give it another chance today .

Frangipani Lady-- nick williams is in great form , this horse run against Down Ace at bangor in may-- the winner hasn't stopped winning-hopefully Williams's charge will do the same...

Saharia-- Jo Hughes course winner may well step up on its re appearance run and be a different proposition tday

Blossom Lane-- Gosden sends this to wolves , surely a tip in itself....

good luck if any play !!

Based on his run behind Hurricane Fly Jezki is still e/w value IMHO, so he could go for him. The other one he may put up is Melodic Rendezvous e/w, who pulled a muscle in the Fighting Fifth and at 50/1 is vastly over-priced.

Morning all
Wolverhampton
210 has the last king of scotland widly napped to return to winning ways but the race seems that tight not even the 3s on offer looks value to me . Instead im going to side with the low weighted minimee Robert Tart back onboard 2wins from 3 outings visor reaplied , raced right these could and should go close 8s ew seems massive.

240 matrash should be a walk in the park for Kelly

310 final delivery 9s available ew nap , Craine could blow the field away here on final delivery as well as exeptional times final also has an exeptional track distance record 5 runs here at this distance read 3 wins 1 second and a third the last 3 runs being wins .
so if fit after a 51 day break final / Craine should be parading around the winners enclosure .

340 the yank 6s ew looks big with Morris onboard , last time the yank raced favourite ice tres was on level terms with ice a few lengths ahead today sees ice 4lbs heavier so the few lengths could be swung around here and at 6s the yank looks value.

410 dodina is more gut feeling than anything this will be a close race and fav barbs has just as much chance as dodina but at 5/2 (I think that was the odds I got) dodinalooks better value.

good luck all
