LONG LUNCH 2.20 was a facile bumper winner for us recently at Market Rasen and is likely to be even better over hurdles though I doubt we will get a great price. In the 3.20 Plumpton our old mate Jim Best has two entered. Royal Trooper and NEMO SPIRIT 15-2. I am in little doubt that Royal Trooper will be pulled after they get some money on NEMO SPIRIT who I think is a much better animal. I have been following this ones progress for a couple of seasons now and every time I see him I think he is not fully fit. I expect to see a different beast tomorrow and he can finally get his reward for being such a game fella. A real dart at the last on a horse who's form looks like the worst collection of scrabble letters that you could ever end up with but PRESENTING DR T 33-1 5.20 has the services of my new favourite conditional tomorrow. He also has the aid of first time cheekpieces and crucially races over 2m5f having not been getting home over three. His mark has dropped to a level where if actually does have any ability he could put it to good use. We shall see,
Evening Stick. Just the one for me tomorrow UXIZANDRE (3.50) should be more than good enough to beat that field on his chasing debut. Now in the colours of JP with the champ riding 5/2 looks a decent enough price. Be careful with Long Lunch in the first if a short price. Macbeth was unfortunate to be given a desperate ride on his hurdling debut. Had some nice bits of flat form (rated 98) and has changed yards now. I am sure Richard Johnson will perform better in the saddle than the lad on last time LOL.
****ing marvellous Proper racing started again, already planning my Cheltenham trip. Mind, I backed that ****ing twatter of a horse Franklino the other week and the bastard came second
Am going to have to go against u wit this one backed kings lodge at fontwell lot was very impressive looks a diff horse over the bigger obstacles will be match fit aswel as receing weight from the top two I expect him to improve again and will take all the beating
Fine thanks Wooly. Hope you are good too?. Haaa yeah will be around for the NH season. GL with Hendos tmz. Goodnight all. Oddy haaaaaaa
Let me guess, the claimer will break down on the motorway with Mattie Batchelor and AP will take the ride? I just want to put up a quote for everyone in regards Loose Chips - "He´s an old character. He walks his box incessantly and was walking it when I went to saddle him today - he´s probably already walked six miles! However, that´s probably why the blinkers worked as he´s just a bit mad. He´s a very, very busy horse but he loves it and Noel [Fehily] has given him a lovely ride. It was his idea to use the blinkers." That was after his penultimate win, after the last one Longsden said "He´s mad, but he´s not bad for a cheap horse and Noel [Fehily] has found the key to him. He keeps finding more" So are we with the nutter or against him?
Been sent chasing because his hurdles mark has gone through the roof. I would prefer to watch than get involved. Save your funds for the one i will give you later in the week!
Morning, crew. Surprised to see so many tips around this morn given the perilous state of the ground (which will only get worse this week as rain of biblical proportions is predicted throughout). Loads of non-runners announced already and expect that to rise, rise and I say rise. Plumpton already hugely devalued as they’ve lost the presence of both Mr Henderson and Mr Ponsonby from their card. Attendance levels will probably half as a result. Talking of the forum’s favourite trainer I see that HUNT BALL will shortly be joining his barn after a few underwhelming efforts in the US. Let’s hope that Mr Henderson’s ‘magic hands’ can see the horse returning to winning ways. Mr Henderson has said of his new acquisition, ‘I am delighted to have been asked to train him and am looking forward to the challenge. No decisions have been made about this season. After his quarantine we may give him another break when he gets here, we'll see. You can only say ‘yes' when asked to train a popular horse like him. The American project was a great idea, but my feeling is that he is better suited to an English fence than American obstacles.’ Hunt Ball really couldn’t be in better hands when he returns to this Isle, people. Good luck to those wagering today.
Percys Gal 2:40 Ponty will win Rocawango (4:40) & Artful Prince (5:10) wont be far off for Glee, NH conditions at Ponty today should suit Stay Frosy and welcome back RV
Morning chaps - hope you all had a stonking weekend. I'm still celebrating my own fortunes - as a result of my own carelessness I ended up backing Royal Diamond four times! I did my singles, then did three sets of doubles, but forgot to remove the singles bets from the bet slip (I have the box permanently ticked for "retain selections after placing bet" - poor Victor, I almost feel sorry for him Lots of selections on the board today, but I'm happy to take 12-1 ew on Stick's pointer at Nemo Spirit - the other JB runner is lower at 8's at the moment so that may be an indication of where the stable's dough is, but nothing ventured as they say ...... Good luck all
Going down as soft for Plumpton! Sorry what?! No chance is it soft there... Heavy, bottomless in places
Nice one Reebs - always good when you make a mistake like that. I remember my first ever attempt to use Betfair - I wanted 20 win on a horse McCoy was riding (think he was about 5/2) so I hit the button and nowt happened. I then hit it another 3 times before I realised you have to wait for the bet to be matched. So I ended up with 80 win on it and needless to say the ****ing thing got beat
Afternoon all rained of work today so took a little look at windsor heavy I think the going is a bit tough to decifer under such conditions but found a few I fancy ew as per I will endeavour to put a few words with them the first wowever I will be blunt with royal reyah loves a bit of soft looks good when travelling heavy though may be a risk but 8s (15/2max now I think) is way to high on a race like this. Good luck all back soon
