For those who arnt superstitious and going to have a punt- racing comes from Bangor, Sandown, Doncaster, Wolverhampton & Down Royal
16.25- Doncaster- Sir Reginald- 8/1
Hasnt won since the spring 2011 in a valuable race, but because of this, he is down to a very attractive mark. He showed signs of coming back to form this more than evident when second in a good race at chester. Also will appreciate the soft ground and the more rain that comes the more I will fancy him to take the honours and 8/1 is a cracking e/w price.
Agreed QM. That was my only reservation. Could she produce a turn of foot like that in a fast run race? That was an impressive performance by Ihtimal in the May Hill, granted the race was moderately run. I would not be in any hurry to back her for the 1000 Guineas as she may turn out to be more of an Oaks filly; and there is every chance that Godolphin will take her to Dubai and run her in the Festival if she progresses well enough over the winter there.
If they go for the Fillies’ Mile, she may meet up with that promising filly trained by Sir Michael Stoute. Now what was that one called?...
CheersWotcha chaps, have managed to get on briefly via my phone.
Just been told to back FLICKA WILLIAMS in the 5.40 at Bangor. It's being heavily punted but there might be some value about.
Apparently it worked with one of McCain's good horses before switching yards recently and walked all over it.
