Theres a decent Class 2 Handicap on the AW at Wolverhampton tomorrow, in the 6.50 ALMAIL 25/1 catches my eye. Pretty poor form on the flat and is FTO on the AW, is lightly raced and the stable have a decent win/place ratio over the last 14 days and the AW this season. Recent form they are 3 wins from 7 and 1 place.

8.20 HIDDEN GLORY 14/1 (EW) interestingly is upped in distance to 2m for the first time.

They have two runners tomorrow the other CLOUDY START 16/1 runs in the 8.50 and is looks well weighted.

All three are decent EW chances and will be my bets for tomorrow.

Nothing for me today, but how disappointing to see only three runners turning up for the Monarchs Mum race at Sandown. After all that woman did for the race fraternity, Mr Henderson should be ashamed of himself, he should have let Barbers Shop take his chance and win the race for the old dear.

See, Monarchy chat is better than Golfing chat.

He won't get up the hill in a horsebox nevermind in the Foxhunters. He will be sat at the bottom of the hill with Chapoturgeon having a crafty pint of Guinness whilst the Irish forlornly challenge good old Don Mccains Cloudy Lane up the hill.

Then I will go to the bar and have a drink with HRH and explain to her she should have gone to Sandown instead.

    Morning chaps,

Not even looking at the racing today, and for the next 3 days until the BIG ONE!

Wooly - Nass is right mate, horsebox is the only way old Barbers gets up that hill.

WHACKO 10-1 5.30 Wincanton is well regarded by the yard. Was backed down to favourite on his debut but unluckily brought down fairly early. Expect a punt again today!

2 out in the Foxhunters and Barbers Shop is stopping for oxygen

<laugh> It could be an idea for Zarkander et al to set up a few chairs, maybe a picnic area, whilst their doing the same in the Champion Hurdle. They could open a designated 'resting zone for the vanquished'. This area would also get undoubted use in the mares race too! I think we're onto something with this <rofl>

I say Nassau, old boy, running down Barbers Shop but praising that woman who lauded around under the preposterous title of ‘Queen Mother’!!! I think you have got things the wrong way round again. Incidentally, I’d better not give my views on the old monarchy as apparently they upset the ‘Queen and Country’ brigade on here.

Don’t forget though people that the Foxhunters is run, at a pace, a stride or 2 slower than Barbers Shop’s previous battles up the Cheltenham hill. But in saying that, incidentally, review the 2009 Jewsons or Paddy Power – he didn’t seem to mind the thing that day! I don’t think (with the possible exception of Binocular) that a horse has ever been so denigrated on here (or the old 606) as Barbers Shop but I’m hoping that he who chuckles last, chuckles longest!

One more point. Has there ever been a weaker running of the Champion Bumper than this one in 2012?!? It shouldn’t take much winning and if he should cross the water Clonbanan Lad will go very close.

Foxhunters is normally run at a faster early pace than the Gold Cup, so that makes your theory sound a little bit off tangeant.

Good morning all, and what a glorious day it is outside... I see that Sam WC has said 'I truly beleive that like Kauto Star before him, Long Run could be a horse of a lifetime...'

Thats putting a bit more pressure on himself me thinks, as before Long Run should win the Gold Cup but saying this he has to win now...!!!

Not long to go now... Where wooly's countdown post...!!!<laugh>
