Hello all. Nice to see you here Islander. How are things in PEI? I suppose you must be looking forward to some lovely warmth from the great orb.

Big day for Australian racing, with the "Wonder From Down Under" So You Think looking to annex his first European G1 event, the Tattersalls Gold Cup. He can't possibly be napped at 1-4, but I hope he does his duty today. The Dermott Weld horse Famous Name scares me a bit though. We in Oz have huge respect for anything Dermott throws a saddle over.

In France, the champion mare Goldakova puts it on the line in the G1 D'Isphan at Longchamp. What a credit she is to racing. Already the winner of 12 G1 races from just 16 appearances at the track. Amazing. She too should be too good today, but I expect Dick Turpin to put his best foot forward. He seems to like Longchamp, and 7-1 looks pretty good value, especially as he only went down a length to Goldakova, the last time they met here.

And congrats to J.P. O'Brien on his maiden G1 win yesterday aboard Roderic O'Connor in the Guineas. Anyone else get the feeling that he's being groomed for much bigger things, by his father's stable?

    Morning all

Brian Hughes is very confident over Mr Tallyman (1st) and Anitopia (bumper)
and Wilson Renwick thinks his best chance of a win is with Tranos (3rd race)
    All at Kelso

    Stay Frosty

Cyc how you doing .i see they are putting Black Caviar out to pasture for a rest, and then maybe to Hong Kong in the spring, give them a call Cyc and tell them to send BC over to the breeders. HAHA.
Re Goldie should win, but she's a year older and first time out this year so you never know, thats why i went for By word better odds. HopeGoldie does not have to many hard races this summer before she comes to this side of the pond to defend her title in the breeders.
Bit of a shock in the Preakness yesterday, but was to be expected after the Derby.
Decided to concentrate on G1,and listed races in Europe especialy during the flat season and Stake races over here.
There has been some good payouts at Woodbine already this year
Anyway good luck to all on your tips

Hi Islanderpei and welcome. Missed most of the racing today. Had to go to a school fête. Just back in time to see the Irish 1000 Gns. Can't believe I've missed So You Think and Goldikova and our Sky+ has stopped working. Hopefully I'll find a recording somewhere.

Hope everyone's selections are doing/have done well.

What a day for the trainor Andre Fabre at Longchamp, that will help to pay some bills haha.3 winners for me out of six picks so in my books thats a great day also. All i have to do now is find a way to Knobble that RED BULL team and all will be well in the world.
Hi Ron ,good site, i will try to contribute on a regular basis mostly when there are big races. Good luck to all.
