1.30 Luscivious - One of those horses who could easy pop up at big odds, and today could be that day. EW bet as I don't like stall one in a sprint over this trip.

Already put Sporting Edge up last night on the naps thread but he is 4/7 so I will change to a more sporting selection - Current Climate E/W in the 3.10 at Fontwell. Best hurdles form by far was on soft/heavy at Folkestone where he finished like a train and just failed to catch the winner. He was shouldered with top weight on his debut run over fences a couple of weeks ago and jumped OK before tiring - I suspect the going was way too fast for him, but at least that will have cleared the cobwebs. I expect a more pedestrian pace today (26F soft) and he is dropped 7lbs by the handicapper, so hopefully at least a place will ensue <ok>

    Best of luck everybody.

Morning, people. Really nice card at Fontwell Park this afternoon and I'll nominate one at that meet:

Let's Get Serious (1.40 Fontwell Park) - this looks a very classy novice hurdle with decent challengers from the Lavelle, King and Mann yards. However, I'll stick with Mr Henderson who gives Let's Get Serious his hurdling bow in this event. This one looked very good, 14 months ago, when winning his sole bumper at Cheltenham as he brushed aside the useful trio of Dark Lover, Sybarite and Teaforthree. Looks a classy recruit to timber and can start in that sphere with a win today.

    Good luck all.

I've been told that Lujano will win the 3:30 @ Southwell today. Currently 7/1 @ ladbrokes. Which probably means you will get a better price else where <ok>

Good morning! Well, couldn't pick my way out of Aldi's at the moment, but I'll give it another go although it's certainly not a nap. The Amos yard struck form a coupla days ago so maybe they can do it again with Bob's Dream in the 13:50 at Sedgefield. Campbell Gillies seems a pretty competent young jockey?

    Anyway, GL today everyone! <ok>

Loose forward who packs down behind the tight head prop. Worth his weight in gold. <laugh>

Afternoon all. 2-00 Southwell Simple Jim.

Nice result for Fulham last night - always nice to see Liverpool on the wrong end of a 1-0 defeat when your local pub is full of wannabe scousers <laugh>

It was indeed - about 5 minutes after he was being hailed as the second coming by half the pub. Oh how we laughed..........
