    Morning all,

Hope nobody minds me starting the thread?

Ayr has been abandoned due to water logging

My only bet today will be the 1:55 @ Southwell "Harry La Fise Lake" (Hills 7/2)
Richard Johnson's only ride at the meeting

Morning and welcome to the thread starting community.

I got excited when I read Southwell on the racecard, shame they had to put that grass stuff and obstacles in the way.

Nothing for me today, its not appealing in the slightest!

    Morning lads,

No bet my end today, but there's a decentish looking class 2 sprint at Lingfield.

I have a question for the more observant of you, is Golden Call, who runs 1.20 at Southwell, shaping up to be the shortest price fav of the jumps season so far?? Over to you lads!

Morning, pilgrims. Nothing for me today as the racing really is Appallingly Bad with both a capital 'A' and a capital 'B'. Good luck though if you do decide to strike a wager.

Meanwhile, Mr Henderson's Mister Dillon could end up challenging Golden Call for the shortest odds runner award at Southwell today.

Morning all, settled in to the new job and now I no what I am doing can spend more time playing on the internet

Southwell 1.55 Toto Skyllachy 6/1 NAP

Not given a hard race first time out so with normal improvement should be involved at the ends.

In 1939 we had a champion called Ajax who'd strung together 18 consecutive wins. He want into the Rawson Stakes as a 1-40 favourite, in a three horse event. He got rolled by Spear Chief at 40-1 against. It's still the biggest upset in Australian racing.

40-1 on!? Why would people bother. I was at Kelso a couple of years back when Zaynar was turned over at around 12 or 14 to one on. (didn't put me off backing him in the Champ Hurdle either)

If people haven't noticed Keys, the former smart bumper and flat horse, is now with Mr Henderson and may make his debut up at Aintree on Saturday.

Plenty of idiots on Betfair who back horses at 1-100 or shorter in running

    Hello lads.

Utter crud today so no bets for me,like most I would imagine.

Interested in Notre Pere off 147 in the Beecher Chase at 20's on Saturday but will hold fire until ground conditions become clearer.Such a shame this fixture has been moved from Sunday,

Also noticed Gigginstown have 50% of the entries for the G1 Drinmore on Sunday.JP has nothing engaged. They really are expanding and have some cracking novices.

GL anyone playing the Southwell shorties.
