Racing come from Ludlow, Lingfield, Sedgefield and Wolverhampton. They put an absolute poltice on JJ Leary last time, but left it behind when beaten 5l at Lingfield. 6s into 5-2. Morning Cyc hope you are well mate. Blowing a gale here, as in most of Europe. Not bike weather I'm afraid. Some nice horses out today, fancies to follow.
Morning All I see Lingfield got the green light early this morning - I was down that way last night and weather was horrific, if they're calling it heavy then it is bottomless, I wouldn't be backing anything unless they're proven winners in heavy. 3.20 Stop the Show. Phillips' charge may be getting on but he loves this ground. His reappearance was disappointing at Fontwell in November but he never seems to run well on his reappearance, his latest effort at Towcester on unsuitable ground was more promising and I think despite turning out just 10 days after that race he is ready to run a big race, he does seem the type to need to be kept going, many of his best performances have come off the back of very short breaks so the 10 days since his Towcester race doesn't worry me. Around 5/1 makes the each way a solid bet for me. Good luck
1.10 Sedgefield Realt Mor - jumped beautifully on his chasing debut at Wetherby and had the race sewn up before a tired looking fall at the last fence. That was over 2m 4f and he comes back to 2m 1/2f today and this is a good test with previous winners Going Wrong and Laterly in opposition. However at the weights Realt Mor should take all the beating and he could be a live outsider for one of the novice chases at the festival - definitely one to keep a close eye on today. 2.40 Sedgefield Kingdom Of Munster - ex Ballydoyle flat horse (once finished within 6 lengths of Cape Blanco) who has been disappointing over hurdles despite being highly tried. This represents a significant drop in class however and off a mark of 99 he is worth an e/w dabble. 2.00 Ludlow Grams And Ounces - up 10lbs after his Leicester romp and going for the hat-trick today off top weight. This will be more difficult but he looked in such tremendous nick the last day and is really thriving on his racing. The Venetia Williams pair (including Cambridgeshire winner Credit Swap) look the main dangers but John Flint can get his mount home again here. 2.30 Ludlow Alasi - not a betting proposition but another novice chaser who could be festival bound - what a novice season this is!! A Bumper double - John Ferguson's New Year's Eve at Ludlow and Warren Greatrex's Chain Reactor at Sedgefield - both short but sweet Best of luck everyone
On the blog - www.nassauboard.blogspot.com 2.00 Credit Swap 6.10 Exemplary The 4/1 offer races of the day.
Morning gents... Looks like you need a strong horse to stand up to this weather and unless you can find a shire horse running you will need one whose jockey has a kite instead of a whip...!!! Back in a bit with some selections if i can find any...

I see Rock of Deauville has left PN!! Isn't he the horse that made a mockery of 160 rated fellas on the gallops? He's joined Miss J A Camacho and is running at Wolverhampton in a class 4 off 82!! What a fall from grace....He is 11's though and I can't resist!!
Nass I'm with you on Credit Swap. Taking an e/w double with Kingdom Of Munster 7/1 NAP 14:40 @ Sedgefield
Afternoon, one and all. Don't feel that inspired by the old jump racing today but will nominate one instead on the level at Wolverhampton: One More Roman (5.10 Wolverhampton) - was claimed by Gay Kellaway after winning nicely at the course 6 days ago. One More Roman beat that day, Crowning Star, a horse I have always liked and given his current form take him to oblige here for the third time within a month. Meanwhile, will be ridden by the lovely, and I do mean lovely, Amy Ryan who has won on her last 2 mounts for the stable. On official ratings is also the one to beat. Meanwhile, cor blimey, I say cor blimey, has anyone seen the loot on offer today at Meydan today?!? £450k+ for an undistinguished looking card! Makes you wonder how much longer owners will be prepared to race for £2k pots over here in comparison. Good luck to everyone.
Well the outsider won that one Heis - unfortunately not the right outsider! Schooling in public is a phrase that springs to mind
I notice that the 15:00 at Ludlow is a "Hands and Heels" Handicap. Does this mean no whip can be used? If not, are they allowed to carry one at all?
Toppy I would think the Jewson, but not heard anything definite from the trainer - he lost a shoe early in the race in the Dipper so I've not totally given up on him
