Tout Rouge & Allen Voran & small ew in the big race, Forolon, but last years winner will be hard to beat, Mean while my mate Richie gets the leg up on Sambelucky and we think no luck needed, this wins.

    3.10 Ffos Las Raslan

David Pipe's charge continues to tumble down the weights and goes today off a mark of 127, just 2lbs above his last winning mark. His margin of defeat has been coming down as well, beaten only 8 lengths last time out, and he drops back into class 3 company today. Big chance I reckon and the 9/1 on offer from Billy Hill looks generous (but I don't believe it will last long).

Dan I was just looking at Auteuil and noticed that in the 12.25 all the horses names start with the letter "T". How strange is that?

It will be because they are all French bred and all born in the same year, probably. With show jumpers all horses born in the same year have to be registered with their names beginning with the same letter which goes in sequence each year (like car registrations used to be). Don't know if it applies to thoroughbreds but it will be something like that.

    Twirl (IRE)
Sister to Irish 1000 Guineas winner Misty For Me and made a very pleasing debut when stable second choice on debut at Leopardstown (7f). Should benefit greatly from that experience, and it would be no surprise if she progressed into a Stakes class filly next year. (irishracing.com)

    Afternoon chaps

Danbo that Twirl is a very good filly, put her up on debut at around 10/1 and was left disappointed that Heff "didn't want her to win" could have won with a tap but he was very soft on her and she looks a group performer in the making. Should easy win today and I have backed her at 5/6 with SKYBET

I think the race is for horses not bred thoroughbred which might explain it.

I quite like Duntle to make the frame at a big price for David Wachman. Got the right sort of pedigree to make an impression over 7f-1m.

    Very impressive.

The 1000 Guineas is shaping up as a Godolphin v Ballydoyle at the moment!

Backed both of Gordon Elliots in the opener at Cork

Musawama at 8/1- was a fair performer on the flat for John Gosden (rated 81 at his best) and was lightly raced. Mixed it with the likes of Slumber, Borug and Eternal Heart. Really think he will go close if taking to hurdling. The other Elliot runner is Canna at around 14/1 (E.W) 79 on the flat and race a couple of times in good company (group 3 and listed). Some good maiden form behind Loving Spirit and Sud Pacifique. Could run a big race here

Just read an article on Racing Post saying that AOB is going to step So You Think back in trip. Apparantly they weren't going quick enough for himm last night.
