Racing today comes from Kempton, Wolverhampton, Windsor, Chepstow and Kilbeggan. As a few will know, I'm not a great fan of Hunt racing, but I love a long gut busting event, where strength comes to the fore. Kilbeggan seems to be that kind of place today. After scanning the card, I've settled on the three mile novice hurdle at 19:20. It's a strange old race where a couple of maiden winners in Tom Horn and Loch Long, head the market, in what looks an open race. They may have ability, but it's not an easy task to step from a maiden win to a novice victory. I've settled on a course and distance winner Mr Springer, a 16-1 chance. He cleared out to a 10 length win here last start in 0-116 handicap and at the price, he seems pretty good each way value. All naps and comments welcome. KEMPTON. 14:45 Banksy. Nass. WOLVERHAMPTON. Morning all. Thanks for the comments re BPG, AT LAST !!!!!!!! Ron i have a very small share in him lets me get into the yard and have a taste of syndicate ownership Rom im Danborored from 606 Oddy, cant get fugees at work and have moved 3 times in last 3 months, finnaly settled now and will be back on fugees asap, but i like it here and i can get on at work Today i like Sugar Bullet in the same race Cyc has highlighted, follwed this since 2nd to our girl sally and i think the extra furlongs may suit her also like Trendelenburg (good name) If it stays on his feet i think he wins well like the jockey booking as well Stay Frosty
Chepstow 6:30-Cluain Dara 4/1 A beautifully Bred filly was way too green over C+D on debut.Sure to be a lot better for that initial experience and sure to give the odds on fav a lot to think about here.
Good to hear from you Dan, I also struggle to get on Fugees at work and have been pretty busy of late. I swa Reveley had a nice winner at Hexham yesterday and wondered whether you were on it 19.50 Kilbeggan St Devote (NAP) - heavily supported on chasing bow when getting up late to beat Ainama and should follow up here at around EVS. Best of luck to everyone today.
