    I was really, really, really happy when we signed him. I still am. A class act. Much more to come, and he will be a regular starter before long. I honestly think he is a 50/50 mixture of Morgan and Wanyama. The strength of big vic with the ability of Morgan.

    In some respects I like the fact he is a hard tackler. Showing your teeth early in the game can put the wind up attacking mids. But yes he needs to stop being booked.

    Fascinated to learn that Chelsea have a loans department. I'd be interested if this worked for them in getting players that actually end up playing for Chelsea or if it is more a money making idea....if it works at all.

    Yes, that struck me too. I believe they have over 30 players out on loan at any one time, which is obviously a policy, not a circumstance.
