The F1 mogul admits he has little interest in football - he prefers Chelsea - and the word is Flavio Briatore, the Crashgate cheat (allegedly), is really driving QPR's greedy pretensions. The club badge has already been re-styled to look like a 1970s aftershave logo, now fans are bearing the cost of the strategy to make Rangers a 'boutique club'. And you have to say it stinks. We seem to be in limbo at the moment - the Eccles and Bluebottle don't have the experience or, frankly, the desire, to run the club. They seem to be waiting for another offer from Mittal. NW's been sent off on holiday to Scotland. Strange, cos one of the benefits of an automatic promotion spot is that you have an advantage over the play-off winner, of several early weeks in the transfer market.
