If you go to the Fail website and click on 'sport', you get ten stories, here's today's:

HULL KR: Mason and Dobson exclusives only in today's Mail

HULL KR: Mason has signed Toulon deal according to Aussie press reports

HULL FC: Martin Gleeson – this is a fresh start, my mistakes are in the past

HULL FC: Manu will be back as Agar tries to maintain focus

HULL CITY: Gerrard – future's bright, with or without play-off success

HULL KR: This is one derby we can't afford to lose, admits Fisher

HULL KR: Sheriff could be handed derby role and Newton returns

HULL KR: Rovers to make statement on Michael Dobson and Willie Mason tomorrow

HULL FC: Don't drop Sam so I can start ... Long set for Rovers return

HULL FC: Gleeson will thrive on derby challenge, says Agar

Nine different egg chasing stories, most of which are about one game, a game that interests far less people than the football match the following day.

They could perhaps be forgiven this, as the rugby game is a day earlier, but I suspect we'll see the same tomorrow and the day after and yesterday they actually ran an article by Nick Woods, on Leeds play-off chances.

They really are a bunch of clueless ****ers.

    That's why I don't buy it.
They keep talking about the Derby as well and I'm not interested in Horse Racing either.

Sorry, OLM, just got back from the Fail site, after reading the big build-up for the Derby game this week-end, "Wille play, won't he play?"

Not fussed about the build up to rugby, as i like watching Rovers when City or the cricket isn't on, but what takes the biscuit is when there was a piece about TWS' chances of getting to the playoffs in a report about City yesterday.

The thing is a rag. I wouldn't wipe my arse with it.

I've emailed them(and copied it to Northcliffe Media) asking them why there's so little reporting of the major weekend that's approaching for the cities main sporting club, why they show such a heavy rugby bias and also asking why they ran the piece on Leeds United yesterday.

It won't get me anywhere, but it felt good to get it off my chest.

The Fail have the freedom to publish what ever they like, after all its their their paper, but its upto the individual if they want to read/buy it, I chose not to do either around 3 years ago.

Do they still publish that green paper on a Saturday evening? Was it called Sportsmail or something like that?

They binned it five years ago.

While checking some facts for my email to the Fail, I found an article in the Press Gazette. The article was about our Premier League promotion and how the increased interest and extended coverage had substantially increased sales of the Fail. Oh the irony......

Never buy it, the internet is all I need for City news aswell as here and the official site. It's a disgrace that they use Peter Swan to write a column instead of somebody actually informed and connected to the club.

Face it, Scooterman - they're are just ****-for-brains...

In my time in Hull, I built up a biz from an Enterprise Allowance Scheme to v. near £500k annual turnover. I used Mail Classifieds and, the number of times they ****ed up was something.
The best was when I spotted an "In Memoriam" notice in "For Sale: Miscellaneous"!!

(I'd have ****ing well fire-bombed the toe-rags if that had happened to me).

And to think we've got to play an important game the day after those effing eggchasers ruin our pitch - a game that may ultimately reward us with a place in the PL.

Think its well overdue that this Good Friday fixture starts to play second fiddle to the major player at the KC - time for the Allams and NP acting in their capacity as SMC to sort it out.

The pitch was bobbly against Millwall and Donny and is not conducive to playing it on the deck and with the recent dry weather can only get worse.

As for the eggchasing derby - the game in this city is so parochial it drives me to distraction. Preston Road and Hessle Road types abound. As a Hull lad this reminded me 40 years ago why I decided to watch City.

I've had a reply from Paul Baxter, he says he agrees completely that there's not enough City coverage at the moment and they want to do more, but they're being refused access to players and they're fed no news.

He says they have requested an interview this week(specifically with Andy Dawson), so they could do build up piece ahead of this weekend, but were refused access, just as they also were recently with Cameron Stewart, Steve Walsh and Nigel Pearson. They get the pre match press conference and an interview with Pearson and a player after a game, but that's it, they can't get any other contact with the club and they say Blunderside have exactly the same problem.

The rugby clubs give them open access and as a consequence, it's them they have stuff to write about. He claims no rugby bias, but that's obviously bollocks as the tone of the reporting is completely different, something I shall obviously point out to him in my reply.

He may have a point though, I know someone else who tried to get access to a City player for an interview and was point blank refused any access. They've raised objections with Danny Pratt(Media Manager) and now also with Adam Pearson and they're desperately trying to change the situation, but for now, they are short on things to write about(I'll give him some suggestions!).

Can you blame the club for denying access to RH?

The amount of **** they used to come out with was amazing. If I was AP I wouldn't let them have any access either.

The mail need to get their act together. Peter "Like I say" Swan is useless. All he does is spew out the same articles every week about how its a must win game - Cpt. Obvious.

Hey, OLM! How about suggesting a competition to the Fail? Over the last games of this season, individuals are to write a match report, then the Fail, the Club, and, the Supporters club, decide who has reported the game the fairest, and, with the most passion. The prize being, to be the reporter of our matches, home and away, with the mail picking up the expenses of the winner, i.e., travel, food and refreshments on the day?

I emailed them back a list of articles they could have done with no player access and pointed out some detailed cases of rugby bias and now they're calling me tomorrow to discuss things. I'm not entirely sure what I've let myself in for. :emoticon-0120-doh:
