    What an article

"Arsenal were hailed from the roof-tops for scraping past Besiktas"

"Of course Di Maria is a pretty good footballer. But a Rooney he is not."

"His purchase of Alexis Sanchez for £30m would have become an almost intolerable financial burden had Arsenal not advanced to the treasure-laden stage of the Champions League."

    "two blatant first half penalties.
Had Besiktas converted only one of them, Arsenal would have been out"

Nice to know he watched the whole alternate second half on his crystal ball.

Wow, even for the Fail that's a stupid article.
Progressing past a Turkish side full of internationals in a CL qualifier is nearly as bad as being battered 4-0 by a League One side that were only formed a decade ago?
Winning and drawing in the league is comparable with two draws and a loss?

I'm guessing that the standard digs at Spurs are all part of his attempt to draw attention to himself and his clickbait piece of hackdom.
He can't be genuinely silly enough to believe this crap, surely?

What I find most baffling is his support for that corrupt bastard Blatter, who awarded the next two World Cups to two of the most corrupt countries in the world.

Bizarre of him to crow bar Spurs into the story with that Cockerel, which is nothing like our emblem - more like France.

What I would say is that Arsenal, like United, haven't started brilliantly, but you are way ahead of them and able to pick up points until your form returns, which we all know will happen.

I think what you fail to understand is that the Daily Mail is run by statistical scientists, it has to be... <laugh>

Digs at Arsenal and Spurs interjected into a story about Man Utd was shown to have the most potential for rage clicks. That's all.

This^. I'm surprised that he didn't end it, "Liverpool are ****, too! Yeah, I said it! What are you going to do about it?"

Newspapers are privately owned so they can publish any amount of garabage and there are enough ignorant dimwitted individuals who will lap it up. Always take the media with a pinch of salt and rely on your own brains to decipher what is right and wrong.

I remember at the 1992 General Election the Sun running a headline that if Labour got into power they would raise the basic rate of income tax to 50p.A fellah I worked with told me he would be voting Conservative on the strength of that headline.I asked him if he honestly believed it.His reply was that as the Sun was the best selling newspaper it would never lie.

People clicking on a link to view it is all money to them. Doesn't matter if you're viewing it "ironically". The internet can't tell why you're clicking on something.

Indeed , many people are too lazy or stupid to get their own information , so rely on what the rags say as gospel .

as the lyrics from the old classic song by Depeche Mode go.........

    You can't change the world
But you can change the facts
    When you change the facts
    You change points of view
When you change points of view

    You may change a vote
And when you change a vote
    You may change the world

Theres a tipping point when so many people have clicked the link , that enough people realise they whole paper is dross stupidity.

Then they not only cease to click the link , but they dont buy the paper either .

Spot on. It's worrying that people believe in newspapers totally even when they are exposed as liers and with a clear biased agenda.

Lmao, you've convinced yourself that you're helping bring them down ... by supporting them and spreading their word.

    Wow.

Sure, sure. Your default response to everything ... call people names.

You're calling the Daily Mail stupid, while simultaneously helping them accumulate money by spreading their articles. And you've convinced yourself that you're somehow contributing to the demise of the paper by doing so instead of doing what you actually are ... helping them. Lol, call me names all you want (as you will do) but that's pretty epically stupid.

Murray you are heading rapidly to a point where everyone on here thinks you are a dick .

    quite an achievement ,

    congrats !

    <laugh>

The telling thing is that you are more interested in waffling about me than what the article says about the team you claim to support ..

Guess if it was Chelsea they were criticising you would be turning purple with rage .

    <rofl>
