Looks like Gills are signing Dack and Davis on new 3 year contracks Very good news. They look like real talents. Just hope Essam is not forgotten as he was superb at the end of last season and was also given 3 year deal.
gioblues I take it you mean Callum Davies ? - who was good last season - but has got better this year. I agree with you about Essam - but as I said in another thread, we will probably have them as our centre back pairing in the very near future - before one or both get sold - and it does appear that Mr.Scally has been quite shrewd with some deals in the last few years - to give us decent 'add on ' money.
I think Connor and Callum will turn out to be our best pair of home grown CB's since Gary Breen and Tony Butler.
Didn't we sign Gary Breen from Maidstone? From my memory that didn't play together with any great success either, Butler really came on when partnered with an experienced defender (played best with Mark Harris and Richard Green).
Breen and Butler were the only two centreback pairing that could both hide behind the same goal post and no be seen
