Is the club as committed as Danny appears to be? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/20867962? Interesting watching him play yesterday and his comments today ,it doesn't sound like anyone has come in for him (yet), I still think he can do a job for us in the future and I for one would rather him start than either Moore, Scheter or Lita .A good performance against Villa may show whether the good work v Fulham shown by him could indicate whether he has a future with the club.
He is our best striker at the moment and I would keep him as 2nd choice if we could buy someone better. Lose Itay, Moore and Lita to make room.
Lita seems miles away from the first elleven. Itay should go, but I would like to keep Moore as a third choice, with Danny fighting for a first team place against another striker. I don't see the need for four strikes as long as we only play with one. We also have Michu that can play up front. I think at least two should go and we will probably bring in another striker.
Danny has no choice but to up his game the best he can as he will know that in a couple of weeks he will be down to third choice with moore when sir mike brings in another striker....He has a lot to prove yet and i hope he can do it...
Good article I feel that Danny still has a future with us and reading.his interview he is committed to us and wants to stay. I would start with him against villa with the same 3 just behind
He has a very good attitude, that was always obvious from the amount of work he put in over the 90. I don't have a clue about all these rumours you see circulating on here but he has always struck me as someone it would be worth sticking by. However, if Laudrup wants someone else and has to cut wages of non regulars him going would make sense (he wrote begrudgingly).
