Well thank god that´s all over The frantic deadline day, Let´s hope they all recover Before we have to play, At least no silly money Was splashed out left and right, Young Kane and Mr. Bunny The last to join our flight, So all departments strengthened We can´t ask for much more, A wage bill slightly lengthened From what we had before, But all in all, the make-up And balance seems okay, And good to have a shake up Amongst those here to stay, With Fox and also Tettey And Whittaker and Kane, All still to leave the jetty This year, there´s more to gain, My only grouse would be though Our young kids sent on loan, We wondered if they might show Here at their Carrow home, But in the ruthless PL Only the very best, Are good enough for a spell All others will go West, So at last back to business At Tottenham, come three, All viewers and us listeners Will be OTBC.
Hi RBF, I must admit, I'm starting to dread the transfer window! It appears that some of our normally quite sensible posters get "transfer fever" and start calling each other names! That's not a nice scenario from a moderator's point of view, it also gives a poor impression to visitors, especially those from our rivals! We don't need to give them an excuse to ridicule us, they can do that all by themselves! From my own perspective, I'm more than happy with the business that's been done, to me it appears that we have strengthened in all departments!
Well I kept off here yesterday, I detest deadline day for that very reason, total mass hysteria. Let´s just get on with the season now.
Good poetry and I agree with the sentiment bor. terrible scenario this transfer window, brings out the wrong psychosis in some peeps. We aren't Swansea and I thank god every day that we aren't. OTBC.
Dave don't understand the fuss of dday and all the hype any business that leaves getting its inventory in til the last possible day normally screws up It's just another sky invention to hook people I'm glad Lambo used to ignore and gets his guys early and glad to see in the main Mr Hewtun has carried on
