If statistically one of the worst teams in the league, Wigan, can beat statistically the best team in the league, Man U then why are we so shocked when Everton beat us?

    Its illogical!!!

I don't think we were shocked (well I wasn't)...it was the fact we lost 4-0. If it was 1-0 and we showed bottle, and actually went into their 3rd of the pitch I wouldn't be shocked.

I agree Wigan beating Utd was a shock, but thats because Wigan are battling for relegation.

Shocks happen - the beauty of football. And if SAF says Wigan are in a false position, it must be right.

My prayer mat is out that Utd need a win at SoL on the final day - and they go the way of the other top 4.

We if city beat united and they then both win all their games does this mean that the title could still be decided T the sol?

As I always think you start defending from the front, so starting a match without a striker (cos really nobody good enough was available) was always going to lead to problems.

Yip!! I don;t want Citeh to win it - simply because they have bought it - I'd rather Man Utd won it but not at our expense - so hope the league title is won by Utd before the final game

I am not sure who I want to win the title. SAF is so graceless (not as bad as Dalglish mind!) and Mancini has sort of grown on me over this year and City have played the better football over the season (most of the time) I think. And people forget what SAF paid for Rooney, Ferdinand, Carrick, Valencia, Young, De Gea etc etc. Even though most of these were a few years ago it still shows that money talks. So some could say they have bought the title too.

Either way I agree that I would prefer it to be settled before our final game.

It's totally illogical Syd. If every result went the way it's "supposed" to, then we could publish the final league table before the start of the season and save ourselves a lot of heartache and money. It's the unknowns, the freak results, the runs of good & bad form etc etc, that keep us all coming back for more.
