Yeah, I was going to go Jenson too. Grosjean another candidate. Screwed it up early on after a good qualifying and again blamed the other party despite it being his fault.
Ferrari - for making a horlicks of getting their garden Gazebo out rather late in the pouring rain......
Vettel. I still don't think Button is as much to blame for his incident, he dipped a wheel, he only had a car width.
It would be harsh to conclude that the custard pie in the face moment was Perez going wide when the race was within his grasp, but I do have to give it an honourable mention. I have to agree that it was Button on Karthikeyan, but only because that was 100% Button's fault. Vettel's race was a barrel of laughs from start to finish, but there were two guilty parties in his clash with the HRT.
McLaren for giving Button first dibs on Pit Stops only for him to clip someone and end up at the back and then screw up Hamilton's pit stop slowing him down too.
In a blue flag situation under current blue flag rules, as much as he needed. He knew where Vettel wanted to be, and bearing that and my previous sentence in mind probably should've eased off the throttle. That said, Vettel only has himself to blame for the damage the incident did to his race. In a race like this, the extra tenth or two it would take to be careful around the HRT makes sense from a risk point of view given the lack of grip and unknown conditions off the racing line. The extra tenth or two is also much less of a big deal than normal, as it's much easier for a confident driver or someone who for some reason must take a risk to make up the time.
Mclaren and Button for me. Button for his incident with the HRT and Mclaren for poor tactics! Not forward thinking enough with Jenson (he had nothing to lose) and too reactive on the strategy with Hammilton- although over running his pit box didn't help! Very poor showing all round, however I think Lewis should be very happy with his 3rd, he showed very little in race pace today that would have lead to a potential better result and JB and Vettle having a nightmare of an attitude! Sad for the Brits!
I doubt it would've even made that much of a difference tbh, all Vettel had to do was move onto the racing line less aggressively, it was a silly mistake, but not as silly as Buttons, who should've won the race IMO. I feel a bit sorry for Narain, as I don't think he did anything wrong in either accident.
I agree, the likes of HRT are awful as back markers! I know the incident with JB was different because HRT was technically fighting for position, but what Karthikeyen can take from that race except for being a total pain in the ass is beyond me? You race hard and fair, but you should never have an affect on race that you are merely taking part in rather than racing in! Whats the point in getting in the way of front running cars that are 107% + lap quicker than you (in race trim) - it just makes them slower than they alreadt are!
Grojsean ruining his race and Schumachers. Massa for being ****. Jenson on Narain. Lewis not winning the race, he has the car. Mercedes. McLaren pit crew. Erm....the Lotus fridge!
