I have actually seen this lad play on TV highlights a couple of times - very raw but certainly a physical presence (a bit like Tom Eaves?). 5 goals in 25 games for Boro shows some promise. I think we will see him come on in the second half tomorrow. On a less positive note surely this signing means we have given up hope of signing a permanent striker. If this is the way the club is too be run in future (basically as a practice team for Championship and Premier league sides) perhaps the management should state this and at least be more honest with us.
