Seems he was commentating for 5 live at Newcastle v Man Utd. Seems a bit odd if you ask me, I'm aware Harper did it last year but he had connections to the team at least.

He seems an alright commentator to be fair.

I've got no problem with our players doing stuff like this. Don't know why anyone does.

It just struck me as odd. I thought he was good from what I heard and evidently he may dabble at it. Don't players who aren't injured have to get permission etc?

I bumped into Curtis today as he was leaving asda at kingswood, was around 3ish , he was txting on his phone, I said hello Curtis good luck for the rest of the season, he stuck his phone in his pocket and shook my hand and said thanks man, he didn't seem in any kind of rush. My mrs would of gone potty if I was still in hull at 3 when I had to be in Newcastle for 6-7 pm. Came across as a good lad, didn't have to stop and chat.

Why is it "odd"? He's a Premier League footballer who speaks well; why the hell wouldn't he find himself with offers of pundit work? It's not like City are training on a Tuesday night.
