What level you at here then lads and lasses?
I genuinely like a Vindaloo heat.
Had a Phal a few times and it's a little too lively going down and coming out.
I probably wouldn't ever touch the likes of a Korma these days as there isn't much taste to me but we all have difference preferences.

Not keen on Indian food generally. Prefer Chinese food and particularly Chinese curries.

I like Madras/Vindaloo heat, for me a curry has got to be hot, having a mild one defeats the purpose of a curry.

Had a Phal a few times, and its been pretty much inedibly hot, so that's the only one I won't touch anymore.

I think I would be a madras hot. But I don't need a curry to be hot to enjoy it. Indian food is a lot more diverse than what we've accustomed ourselves too.

My curry obsession at present is ones with pickle in. Magic combo pickle and curry.

I will succumb to one hotter curry without fear. That is a jalfrezi from Sachins (back of the railway station). Still my favourite curry house in town. The jalfrezi is pretty ****ing hot. Not like the tame English version, this is a proper bengal curry.

Yep. Prawn or Chicken Jalfresi for me but try and get it before the Mrs adds extra fresh chillies to it.

Had a cracking Indian in Glasgow the other week, probably one of the best I've ever been to in all honesty. I normally stick to the tikka/madra/balti/jalrefzi area. I'd quite like to give summit hotter a bit of a go but it's one of them things though innit? You go out for a nice meal, you pays your money but you wanna actually eat (and enjoy) your food rather than leaving it cos you're breathing fire after every mouthful. One day I will give it a go though I'm sure, probably go for the vindaloo to test the palette before deciding on whether anything hotter is worth the pain, both in the wallet, mouth and the arse !!

Has to be mushroom pilau and garlic naan for me. The Mrs likes the peshwari naans, but she always gets them with a dish which also has coconut in....it's a bit too much coconut for my liking like!

Ah yes dhansak, is a good one.

Love lentil and chick pea side dishes, taka dhal, chana aloo, whatever you call them.

I like good curries except Indian - from very hot to mild. It's the quality and freshness that's umportant. Thai, Latin American, Caribbean, Japanese, Thai....anything except Indian.

My sister delivered for a curry house and as such got a free curry at end of shift.
She asked me "what would you like?"
"Ask them to make the hottest curry they possibly can!!"
They started with a Phaal as the base and cranked it up.
After the first mouthull I instantly regretted it and started to pull the bits of chicken free from the fork with my teeth so my lips didn't make contact. After eating all the chicken I felt like I had cheated so I necked the sauce.
The toilet paper went in the freezer that night!

There is a bloody lovely Ghurka curry that I can't find elsewhere called a Hariyali, it's a sweet and sour curry and it's the bollocks!

Madras, vindaloo I can handle at some places but they vary. Usually order a madras, pathia or rogan josh though
