Not sure where to put this, so creating a thread where we can discuss development or otherwise of our first team squad.

To start it off, Alastair Gold has an interesting article on Ndombele. Hoping it is true

Here's something that's been at the back of my mind recently regarding our squad, or to be more accurate the deadwood within it: wouldn't it have made more sense to sign HG players for squad spots than non-HG ones? For example, instead of signing Janssen and GKN, what if we signed Connor Wickham and James Ward-Prowse (to pick two names out of the air) instead?

At the very least that would have (in theory...) meant we had two non-HG places in our squad last season so we could have actually done some transfer business, but more than anything else its easier to move on HG deadwood than non-HG deadwood as other Premier League teams also need to fill HG numbers so a deal can be struck, rather than having a hell of a time trying to dump off Janssen, GKN etc as there's little to no need for any club to have any interest in them

Not if it's anywhere near anything red. I'm also ****ed on blue/purple/black and grey/green/blue.

Gotcha...

I still like Lucas. If we can get a proper right back in (or play Foyth) and bed in a midfield including Lo Celso and Ndombele, his figures will improve...if we do this and they don't, I didn't say this.

I'm not colour blind and it's still pretty similar to that. It's not very user friendly and the colour scheme is horrific.
