Is this right the players we currently have under contract

    Foster
    Fontaine
    Baldock
    Kilkenny
    Kelly
    Pearson
    Davies
    Cunningham
    Taylor
    Anderson
    Reid
    Elliott
    Bryan
    Adomah
    Burns
Ajala? and contracts offered to Tango and Carey

So even if Albert leaves that only leaves 3 or 4 open positions for a squad of 20-21 the post is right we will have to ship out a few to get more players in.

    ................................................ A N Other...................................................
    Moloney..........Carey..........................................Tango.....................Cunningham
    Anderson..............Kelly...............................Reid.................................Bryan
    .................................Baldock...............Davies..........................................
or Elliott in Midfield instead of Reid.
Doesn't that squad have a familiar look about it?

I think that's it. Maybe Elliott could be out but the club are yet to clear that up. Post says he has a year left. Transfer market says he is out of contract. It doesn't look very strong and I think we will need 5-6 players to compete. I'd only sing the one keeper. 2 CB's 1 CM RM ST

Taking a look at the list you have shown makes me ask the question as to what would be our wage bill based on those players, with the probable exception of AA, staying for next season? Am I right in thinking that there are still players going to be around that are paid well over the odds and if so what should we do with them in market that could be very difficult due to the FFP rules.

The major part of our problem over the last 4 years is that we were paying over the odds for players that just did not cut it in the Championship and if we are indeed intent in reducing our wage bill then surely their will be more players that have to be shipped out. Attendances next season could be a problem when you look at the teams we will be hosting that are not exactly in the top flight crowd pullers, you must admit the financial issue could again prove to be an issue.

I believe that there are still a lot of problems to be sorted before we can even begin to say we are getting our house in order. Comments please.

Think the wage cuts should deal with most of that and think most are now del or sods signings or academy so wages will be less

The wage cut hasn't dealt with it at all Tiger. Without signing anyone we have used 80% of our wage up. That's still with Carey and Nyatanga to sign. I can honestly see us offering players hundreds a week instead of thousands.

It looks alright. Replace the CB's and Bryan and that team wouldn't spell disaster.
