Maybe we should not sit in judgment of a mother who has lost her innocent son to a horrible murder by a vile racist gang.

    We've had Super Saturday,
    Now we've got Meaningful Monday,
    Then Terrible Tuesday,
    Woeful Wednesday,
    Thankless Thursday,
    Frightful Friday;
Then start all over again ad nauseum....

MPs will refuse to discuss the 'Boris Deal' in case they accidently lose a vote and we come out of the EU. They will also refuse a General Election in case a pro leave Government is elected with a reasonable majority.

We now seem to be locked into a 'Groundhog Week' over BREXIT with the pro remain MP's refusing to let us leave!

Can't the Queen step in and say that this Parliament is not fit for purpose and call a General Election herself?

Interesting to see what the Speaker decides on that score.
A GE will probably signal the end of the Corbyn experiment. The electorate have had a proper look at him now, and don't like what they see, so he will get a resounding thumbs down this time. The Labour front bench know this, which is why they are now pushing for a confirmatory referendum before a GE.
The Boris Deal is a path to a No Deal which is why the ERG support it. If they had supported the WA we'd be out by now.

Apparently there has been an avalanche of criticism for Harry and Meg in the tabloids. Probably because there's nothing much else going on in the world.

I think the press should leave Harry and Meghan alone. The amount of bullying in the gutter press, Sun, Mail, Express etc is despicable.

The country is about to put its trust in Bonking Boris. What could possibly go wrong?

I don't mind any couple or young family having privacy, and I think the press should lay off the gutter stories about Meghan's troubled relatives back in America. Tittle tattle about supposed rifts with Kate aren't worthy news either.

But I do have a problem with Royalty and the other Nobility - freeloaders with vast inherited wealth, or even worse, freeloaders who live off my taxes - preaching to me about how I should live my life.
Harry, his bro and his pops have carbon footprints about the size of Jupiter.
How dare they bang on about the environment, the bloody hypocrites.

It seems that Elland Road was worse than the Palace of Westminster for the visit of Brum. Perhaps our MP's were on a away day to watch a soccer match when they should have been in the HoC deciding on Brexit.

Thugs on both sides of the Commons are encouraging the sort of behaviour seen at Elland Road last Saturday.

Nothing new then. In 1938 Manny Shinwell. later Lord Shinwell, crossed the floor and punched a Tory on the nose for telling him to go back to Poland, which Shinwell considered to be anti-semitic.

In International news, I hear the King of Thailand has stripped his royal consort of her titles.

Probably because she wouldn't let him take her up the aisle <whistle>

Modern warfare seems to consist of dropping bombs on hospitals and schools. Anyone who is hit is called a terrorist. If you believe in the existence of evil then Putin and Assad are evil. Since America has abdicated its position as leader of the free world the vacuum is being filled by far worse forces.

The 39 Bulgarians found dead: I was trapped in an industrial freezer once, when the door swung shut on me. I made a helluva racket, and someone let me out after a few minutes, which seemed like a few hours. Just after that a compressor started going nearby, so I was extremely lucky. A ghastly way to go, wouldn't wish that on anyone.

Surely they weren't Bulgarians. After all, Bulgaria is in the EU, meaning its people can just come here legally.

The General Election will be a good one to lose, like the 1992 one.

I don't think that we'll get a general election now.

According to Oliver Leftwing's fixed term parliament bill we aren't obliged to have one until June 2022.
As long as 217 MP's are too cowardly to vote for one (that's one more than a third of the HoC I believe), they can hold the other 433 to ransom for the next 32 months.

Seems odd that it should not be a simple majority, like all other Commons votes I know of.
But then, Parliament hasn't much respect any more for what the majority votes for.

You're right, they are Chinese. The head of Stop the Traffic reckons there are 130,000 people in Britain who have been illegally trafficked here.

    I can well believe it.

Our border forces are stretched to breaking point, but whose fault is it?
