Labour are carrying out a major reorganisation and most of Corbyn's team are being moved.... the left of centre press report I was reading suggested that McDonnell was behind it. This brings back memories of Ken Livingstone's power grab at the GLC.

Labour are f*cked as long as Momentum are in control They've got all the seats on the NEC, which is where the power base is, and they seem to be deselecting as many women MP's as they can. They should feck off, take Corbyn with them, and start up their own party.

Just read that ER are launching a legal challenge to being banned from London by the police.

The claimants include the Green Party's Caroline Lucas and Baroness Jenny Jones, and Labour MPs Clive Lewis and David Drew.

Personally I cannot see how ER can possibly win a legal challenge.
They have never cooperated with the police. Their disruptive actions have been deliberately illegal. 1,400 of them have been arrested.
But then, I have no faith in our courts anymore.

Remember the names of those ER backers.
Three Members of Parliament and a Peer of the realm who support the 'right' of anarchists to systematically break the law, rather than supporting the duty of our police to enforce it.
    Shame on them.

A court of law applies the letter of the law as it stands, even when natural justice doesn't appear to be served.

Started off as a good cause, but they've lost the plot. Trying to stop the underground from running (and succeeding) is unforgiveable. I feel for those commuters stuck in an underground station. The tube is bad enough anyway in the rush hour without that.

Surely at the core of ER's philosophy is that there are too many people in the world and it would be wrong to penalise the young so eventually they will propose forced euthanasia (or the banning of NHS Services) for people over the age of say 40.... with this age gradually reducing to say 12. There was a film about this in the '80's wasn't there... Logan's Run I believe it was called.

I listened to their spokesperson on the Andrew Neil show and Andrew totally showed her up. Especially the comment that 100000s of people would die in the next two years because of climate change.
Climate change is a big problem. But I am inclined to believe Attenborough and learned professional's rather than extinction rebellion who are a derivative of Stop the City who descended on the City a number of years ago.

They've blown it by protesting public transport, especially electrified public transport.

These celebrities agree that they are being hypocritical but none of them say what they are going to do to reduce THEIR carbon impact?? They are not being hypocritical... they are being selfish!
By all means join in the ER rallies …. but … Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye. Matthew 7:5

Nigel Farage is incandescent over Druncker saying there shouldn't be another extension. Have I entered a parallel universe?
