2 consecutive home games, where we've effectively had the game sewn up by half time. It's weird not being on tenterhooks in the 2nd half, clinging on to a one goal lead...Of some people will never relax, you see them screaming and swearing at the play when we're 5-0 up. Relax guys... Good to see attendances edging up too, nearly 17500 is pretty good for a regular game with no special promotions, almost as many as Wednesday are getting.
Dead right. I had a curiously deflated feeling at the start of the second half and only after about ten minutes realised it was because I was so relaxed. All the better mood to celebrate that fabulous fifth goal. In many ways, the biggest disappointment of the Huddersfield game being on Sky is that it would almost certainly have been the biggest crowd of the season (apart from the one where we need one point for automatic promotion). Damned nuisance. If we measure crowd size as a percentage of the overall capacity, we're way up there as well.
I'd be disappointed if we didn't get 16k+ for this game. With or without sky, it's our biggest game of the season so far(possibly overall), and it's time to turn out.
I guess we will get about 13,000 for the Udders, with half the amount of Udders turning up and a fair few ST holders watching in pubs.
Still hope that a lot of the drinkers in Greenwich etc who watch CAFC in the pubs might be swayed by a top of the table clash. Anything below 14k and I'd be massively disappointed.
