    Reports that Fulham tried to recruit him as director of
    football but terms / contract & salary did not reach his requirements.
    ? do we really need someone like him, i personally feel his suggested
    appointment if taken up would have been a retrograde step.
    What we need is a good coach to work alongside and assist Kit

    While most of me is with you rosc, I think Kit really could do with someone experienced in the transfer market beside him before the January window. And by "experienced" I also mean someone with contacts.

    Surely someone with 20-20 vision would be better able to spot a good player. Just saying.

    I think Curbishley would have been a good appointment, but if money was the issue then we're better off moving on. Enough with the people looking for one last pay day.
