I have a season ticket and have decided to go to the FA cup game against MK dons. I didn't take the 'go to all cup games' at the start of the season which means you are guaranteed all home cup games but are charged as soon as they come up, as I am not sure if I can go to all of them, especially if they are a night game.

As a season ticket holder some other clubs allow you approximately 2 days to purchase your seat first for home cup games, as they games come up, and then they go on general sale.

When I found out that the tickets were going on sale at 10am on Tuesday, I logged on at 9.45am to purchase online, however the game was not on the screen as it was before 10am so it didn't show up. I tried again at 10am and this time it showed the game on sale but was very slow allowing me access to book. I also phoned the box office at 10am at the same time and was waiting to be answered.

By 10.10am I got into the site but my normal season ticket seat was allready gone so I thought I would wait to speak to someone on the phone. About 5 minutes later I got through to the box office but by this time I was told there was no seats left in the gold section were I normally sit. I did manage to get a ticket in the lower section.

Just wondered, do you think as a season ticket holder you should get first choice for home cup games before they go on general sale, as some other clubs do, or not?

Also is it really possible that all seats could be sold in the gold section within 15 minutes of the game going on sale?

I think ellerslie road is shut so it was inevitable that as the tickets are all the same place all us silver/bronze peasants were going to snap up gold, you'll have to slum it with the peasants.
The club need to sell the tickets they're not going to hold off with such a short time to sell them. I think what they've done is practical for once.

Ellerslie is open now as I think they are expecting more fans for MH first home game. Booked my usual seat in R block.

If there was a hope in hell of it selling out, season ticket holders would get priority. As it is, not really worth it. Get as many in as are stupid enough to see us lose to a lower league side again and get on with it.

If, by some miracle, we're in the fourth round, I'm sure it'll be done on a loyalty point basis or something.

I booked a ticket in S block at lunch time on the first day, Tuesday, and it took the box office operator a couple of minutes to find me a seat so sounds as if there's a good take up.
