For some of those lucky enough to touch for a cup final ticket they face a nightmare getting to the game by train and even if they manage to get there on time there are no trains coming back until monday.

After all the problems faced/caused in the FA Cup in the past by the FA you'd have thought they would have contingency plans in case of problems like this should they arise.
Considering the FA have changed the whole semi-final and final tradition by playing on a day where league games are played and using Wembley for the semi's surely they could move the game back or forward a week?

Your talking 1000's jk and the National Express is usually already full when it reaches Liverpool on its way to London.

That leaves private coaches who will make a fortune by the look of it,but the demand for seats might to big for local coach firms to meet.

I didnt consider the amount of people...

They could encourage fans to group together, chip in and hire coaches, mini buses etc. Probably still cheaper than trains. though the roads will be a nightmare.

    You can also fly. http://www.farecompare.com/flights/Liverpool-LPL/London-LON/market.html
    Not cheap though.

Or enjoy a long week end in London.

I have a niced sized garden if you bring a tent.

Its right next to the train line though, so dont expect peace and quiet.

lol i'll be back as bow4fowler soon!

I had a huge hangover and the only way past it was by watching about 4 episodes of Sharpe which is amazing!

So as a tribute I changed my name.

I've also used bow4fowler for almost 6 years now. Needed a brief change!

Would be handy to know a coach driver that happens to be off on that day to take a load of people down there.I imagine also there will be quite a few travelling early so hotels and the like will be hiking the prices up after hearing about this travel debacle.
