Jason Cundy says the Dippers are the most bitter fans and they do seem to resent our success the most.

I guess if you cherry picked LFC to support in the 90s because they were the most successful club and had to spend three decades watching The Red Devils overtake your club, you would be bitter and regret not supporting your local club too.

Dipper's all the way for me.
They resent any clubs success, like you said, because half their fans were glory hunters from the 80's who forsook their local clubs for glory and then spent the next 20 years watching their closest rivals win everything in sight while they disappeared into obscurity, and then to make things worse for them, when it looked like they might be getting their act together again in the mid 2000's, up pops Chelsea with a new rich owner to win back to back league titles in a period when Utd were so so bad (Kleberson and Djemba Djemba anyone?), during that time Liverpool may have snuck a title if it werent for us......this makes me even happier.

 

The Scouse lot... Always whining... Never their fault... Rivalled by the Spuds but the scousers really do make my blood boil with their whinging.

 

Close call between Spurs and Liverpool. I've gone for Spurs who seem most bitter about our success, maybe because Roman almost bought them??? When ever anyone is talking about Roman in negative way it is normally a spud.

Liverpool are equally annoying with their whole 'no history' bull sh1t though.

United fans are not bitter in my experience, probably because unlike the other 2, they've managed to maintain constant success during this period to.

 

I got hooked by Chelsea when they were 14th in the league and thats where they finished the season . Worse was to follow as the next season they finished 18th , just one place from relegation! Still never missed a game at the Bridge for 14 years(my wedding day).I've lived with 4 relegations. There are those out there that use the word "plastic" for the fans of great clubs, but I'd spit teeth if it was ever used on me! So as far as this vote is concerned I imagine all these clubs contain the usual mixture of following! ie diehards, plastics, armchair etc. We all know what one we are!

 

In my experience, in terms of annoying fans it has always been Dippers and Spuds to be honest.
Dippers because of what I said above, and Spuds mainly because they have a massive inferiority complex about being London's third club now.
Not only have Arsenal, their bitterest rivals, owned them on almost every level since the two clubs were formed in terms of trophies etc, but now Chelsea have come in and jumped to the top of the London pile, pushing Spuds down into the depths with West Ham, QPR and Charlton.....love it

I think more Liverpool players make it as pundits because they don't go on estrogen-fueled rants about the fans of other teams like Ex-Chelsea players do. Poor nobody Cundy being cyber-bullied by 12 years olds
