I would rather have a manager who suprises people with his selection and subs, than a manager who sticks with systems and is predictable.
People keep saying this and we keep getting results by not doing it. Am I missing something? Everyone seems to agree that Silva is doing a great job, yet no one agrees with his selections?

Agreed, leave him to do his job. He's already proven he knows a thing or two about football.People keep saying this and we keep getting results by not doing it. Am I missing something? Everyone seems to agree that Silva is doing a great job, yet no one agrees with his selections?

But why wouldn't you want our best players playing in a game that was winnable? Hernandez is our best striker,. Niasse is good, but Hernandez is better and they play even better when played together.
Of course, that's why I just gave my opinion. People can say anything they want, like stick Marshall up front! It doesn't mean people can't have opinions on games, this is an opinions board after all.

Clucas took a knock and was not at his best. Hernandez is to central where as Henriksen came on and covered thenfull width of the pitch. Southampton started to get behind our defence and when Long came on they changed their shape. Henriksen worked well with Niasse, heading past a defender to get Naisse forward and have a shot.
I thought the subs worked well. How many shots and corners did we get after 75 minutes?
. Maybe we needed to be more direct though, as although we maybe created some half chances, they didn't amount to anything. I also think that plenty of people would have moaned had Hernandez played the same role as Niasse on Saturday - oh he missed chances, he scuffed the ball, all he does is run around, he hasn't scored for ages etc. etc. The other factor for me is that whilst they played ok, Niasse, Grosicki in the 2nd half and Markovic weren't as effective as they have been, so why wouldn't we try change it with Hernandez? Anyway, that's my thoughts, I'm just going to look forward to the Sunderland game now. I'm taking my 8 year old daughter to her first ever football match, hoping it's a good one for her.Of course, that's why I just gave my opinion. I can see it now. 90th minute against Spurs, 1-0 down and needing a point to stay up. Jak comes up for a corner and gets his head on a Grosicki cross into the top corner.I would love to see Jak score a goal in open play.
Haha beat me to it, was just about to write the sameI can see it now. 90th minute against Spurs, 1-0 down and needing a point to stay up. Jak comes up for a corner and gets his head on a Grosicki cross into the top corner.
Two PL promotions and a Cup Final.
Three Wembley appearances.
And a relegation and the worst case of nepotism ever seen in sport
But then Swansea can beat Sunderland and West Brom. Meaning we would have to beat spurs.so I can't see us settling for a draw at palace.we need a winThe burnley game was a game too far for palace is all. We've seen how **** the manc clubs are after a bruising game a few days earlier. It takes it out of players so much.
Palace will stay up even if they lose their next three.
If we beat Sunderland and Swansea lose to Everton . Us and palace could play out one of those dodgy draws .
Best Hull City manager ever, we should have kept him.
I would too.1-0 down to spurs.jak scores a last minute header from a corner to keep us up.I would love to see Jak score a goal in open play.
Hadn't realised that Palarse play Citeh at 12.30 Saturday. .... the right result gives us extra incentive if any was needed...
