So, onto the final match of a turbulent and nerve-wracking season to be played out at Selhurst Park. After losing our first 7 matches and then going on to lose 16 of our first 21 matches leaving us bottom of the table, 5 points adrift of safety, it would have been a brave, nay, foolhardy person to wager on Posh surviving. Yet, as we await the outcome of the final round of Championship matches, we are out of the drop zone, albeit only on goal difference, and we are masters of our own fate, win and nothing can prevent our survival. We could even lose or draw and stay up if other results go in our favour, but let's not dwell on that, we are best when we attack so come on Posh, go for the win so we can all celebrate and party in style. It is incredible to think that having amassed 41 points in our last 24 matches we could have been on the brink of promotion to the Premiership had we shown the same form during those miserable early season matches. Win, Lose or Draw, poshpete and I will be at Crystal Palace on Saturday and the Swedish cider now chilling in my fridge will either serve as an accompaniment to our celebration or be used to drown our sorrows. Whether it is League 1 or the Championship next season I have my Season Ticket for the South Stand for the upcoming season. I think the Pointer Sisters sum up nicely how I feel... "I'm so excited and I just can't hide it"

Couldn't have said it better myself. Well, maybe a couple of extra "VERY"s thrown in for good measuer.
Millwall were looking at promotion before the turn of the year, and their league form has been dreadful in 2013 which is why they are having a fight to stay in the Championship. If Palace cannot turn them over it says little about their chances of promotion. Go Posh, loads of us wanting you to stay up.
