<peacedove>After seeing off Bologna in the Champions league, games are coming tick and tough. Three London clubs in a row. After Palace away, Chelsea at home and Arsenal away. We are not expecting a easy game away to Palace. Last season, it was Crystal Palace 1:2 Liverpool

only question is how many does Hooper send off.

Trent for breathing wrong and kicking ball away or timeeasting on a throw.

Salah glfor protesting assault on his person and a dive when the opponent choke slams him wwe style.

Always a harder lower half game.

A proper old school ground with proper fans singing so you have to make them think they can't win or thr place turns on you.

On paper a very good side so their result are inexplicable so far

CHRIS SUTTON HAS GONE FOR AWAY WIN 1:2

    Selhurst Park, 12:30 BST

It is always a balancing act for clubs in the Champions League and the Premier League, but especially so for Liverpool here, away from home and with the early kick-off.

For Arne Slot's side it is just about getting a win, however they do it, going into the international break.

They got over the line against Bologna on Wednesday without being at their best and, while I expect this to be close, I do see them getting the job done against a Crystal Palace team who are in a bit of bother really.

Along with Wolves, Southampton, Leicester and Ipswich, the Eagles are one of five teams without a league win so far.

Oliver Glasner got some great results when he took charge last season but he has got to be careful - at this rate, Roy Hodgson will be back in charge by Christmas.

    Sutton's prediction: 1-2

Will: Jonny and I had a Euro 2024 prediction head-to-head, and I won - but only because I sussed out pretty early that a lot of international games end in a draw, so I predicted way more draws than he did. This time, we are pretty much aligned on our predictions, so we are going to take on Chris together.

Will and Jonny's prediction: Palace have got so much ability going forward, but they are not scoring - they have only managed five goals in their first six games. Liverpool will be too strong. 0-2

    JONES KNOWS BEST......AWAY WIN 2:00
Crystal Palace vs Liverpool, Saturday 12.30pm
The last thing Crystal Palace need right now is a well-drilled and ruthless defensive unit to break down. Liverpool have conceded just two Premier League goals under Arne Slot and the defensive metrics also stack up with the Reds offering up just 0.75 worth of expected goals per 90 minutes - the best record of any team.
Palace created just 0.22 worth of expected goals at Everton from open play with issues of creativity out wide causing big issues.

Tyrick Mitchell's wastefulness and lack of threat is holding Palace back. No player in the Premier League has attempted more crosses from open play (27) which shows Palace are working the ball into decent positions - but no player has more unsuccessful crosses from open play (20) than Mitchell.
He's a soMy advice would be to keep it very simple here and back Liverpool to win and under 4.5 goals at 10/11 with Sky Bet.lid left-back being tried in a position which just isn't him. Oliver Glasner needs to fix that.

    SCORE PREDICTION: 0-2

I like it, trying to negate these slow away starts?

That team should be a pressing monster

Szobo needs a rest - thought might have tested against Bologna though. His running stats this season have been incredible. Pretty much top 3 for speed intensity and number of sprints.

This is the kind of game that we’ll lose. We may be top but recently, we’ve been average. Need to score quickly to win this.

We now need to kill the game off by scoring more goals.
